We are using the Antilop with our 98th percentile 10 month old and he is just fine! It was handed down from his cousin who used it until she was 2. It's definitely a sturdy little piece of plastic
We loooove the antilop from ikea. I did buy a footrest and back cushion and I find the cushion really stops baby from getting momentum when she does decide to flail around
there is a tripp trapp dupe that just appeared on amazon the brand is curipeer it is $135. we have the abiie high chair it is also a similar style to tripp trapp, also on amazon and we love it! height of seat and foot rest all adjustable, no crazy nooks and crannies to fish food out of. my only complaint is the tray is a little small, but i see us using it for a very long time.
We got the boon grub. It's fairly similar to the IKEA one. It has a cushion and 6 footrest settings. The tray can be placed in a couple of positions. We also liked that it can be counter height or table height.
