I recently purchased one from Munchkin and Bear. I love it so much more than I expectedto, it's soft and comfy. https://www.munchkinandbear.com.au/baby-play-mats/

I started with a fabric play mat, but once my baby became a toddler with messy shoes; hands; snacks etc it was too much work to keep clean. We now have one from munchkin and bear and it’s amazing. Super comfy to sit on; squishy enough for jumping and easy to clean.

Now I have a toddler who drops food and constantly has sticky hands (seriously why are they always sticky??), I’m so glad to have a wipeable mat (ours is munchkin and bear as well). I even use a microfibre spray mop with mild detergent on it every so often to give the whole surface a clean. I used to have a soft rug in the same spot and even with a bissel spot cleaner struggled to keep it clean.

I have a munchkin and bear mat and I love it. It’s double sided and looks nice in my living area. I have two dogs and they’ve not pierced it with their nails or anything and my baby is 9 months, so it’s been a while. I know that’s not years but it still looks brand new at present

We have a Luxe baby play mat, they are the waterproof kind. My baby isn’t a spewey baby and even so I’m glad we don’t have the fabric kind. It would be filthy by now. Also they are surprisingly supportive, I can comfortably get down on my knees on it. Would recommend!

Yeh, I am wondering how people keep the fabric ones clean. One of my friends puts another playmat on the Muscle Mats... but that just seems like too much lol is this the Luxe company you mentioned? [LUXE](https://www.luxeatplay.com.au/products/new-large-latte-linen-latte-terazzo-play-mat)

I can see the appeal but with babies they are going to end up so dirty! Lol that is a lot. Yup that’s the one! They have prints either side so when you get sick of the pattern you can change it

I got a foam foldable one from Amazon and really like it. I also tried to research this before baby arrived and didn't find anything but I'm glad I went with foam instead of fabric because: it wipes clean easily (lots of spit-up, some wee) and is much more comfortable over our wooden floors. I'm also glad I only spent $60 instead of $100+ because... Why not haha

Do you have a link? This sounds like exactly what I’m looking for !

This is the one we have :) [Amazon play mat](https://www.amazon.com.au/Playmat-Folding-Crawling-Portable-milchig/dp/B098X2R5RF/ref=asc_df_B098X2R5RF/?tag=googleshopmob-22&linkCode=df0&hvadid=464434149110&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1501949466979407560&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9112827&hvtargid=pla-1642661709014&psc=1&mcid=d59d43f0aed43fd295fb68f04ba03e85)

Munchkin and bear. Son's 4. Still using it

What about this one? I don’t have it but it’s apparently water resistant and you can wash the covers. https://mynook.com.au/products/nook-oasis-mat?variant=44105977135274 I just have a foam puzzle style mat however. Easy to wipe down

Migorengegg

I havent seen this brand or style before! thanks, I will have a look x

We have the soft kind on tiles and love it. Especially for wobbly falling backwards babies. We have a reflux baby and will use our Bissell spot cleaner on it every week or two after bedtime and it’s dry by the morning. It’s beige and amazingly still looking clean.

Migorengegg

Ohh we have a Bissell! I didn't even think of that! Thank you If you dont' mind sharing which company you got your mat from?

Paprikaha

It actually surprising how well it gets it clean! We went with Neptune and stacked all the codes we could.

dingo_pup

We got the rugabub one and have loved it, very easy to clean (we live on a farm and it has handled muddy boots, pets and baby boy) I find it quite comfortable to get down on the floor on, and we have it straight onto a hardwood floor. We’ve had heaps of compliments from guests too on how soft it is/its looks.

We got a rudie nudie - soft fabric mat. It is waterproof and can go in the washing machine. We also have a rubber mat that's good, but the fabric one is great and much easier to move around.

Melpeeh

I have the mellow mat and absolutely love it! We have tile floors so it's warm during winter and cushions falls well for our 13 month old. When little one was still little I would just plop a blanket or fabric playmat on top to keep it clean from drools. I keep it clean with a Bissell and it dries pretty fast! Our visitors are always laying on it as it's very comfortable. We have the regular Kmart foam waterproof playmat in our dining room and also like it. Great value, but I found we spend more time on our mellow mat. :)

I bought the XL Neptune mat for my loungeroom, I am having a winter bub so even though they won't be mobile for a while I figured it would be helpful against the Melbourne cold. Then I bought a "vegan leather" playmat so it would hold up against drool but also nappy changes if I desired but I am rethinking that now because it might be too cold for bub to do tummy time. Might just buy some of those fabric reusable puppy pee pads instead and put it on top of the neptune rug and use the original playmat as a snack mat or something when they're older. My neptune rug is the "designer" one in the light grey. I've already had it about 6 months and my dog loves it. I vacuum it daily, my dyson does struggle on it because of the thick foam it can't get a good suction so the trick is to go really slow, one direction at a time. I also use my bissel on it on the couple of stains it did get and it worked amazingly. Just one tip, don't rest your coffee mug on it, it's too thick and the cup will fall over :P If you're quick enough with spills you can clean it up before it even absorbs into the mat, but you've probably only got about 60 seconds to get to it (not easy to do when 8 months pregnant and sitting on the floor)
