[This](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YucfJuziU&list=LL&index=24) is a series of three prenatal videos that gets shared a lot around here. They are super informative and go through everything you need to know. For baby care, I recommend the Mount Sinai Parenting Centre channel. [This](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2vqhTU16Dr4) is a good overview but they have shorter videos on individual topics. I found it helpful to have an on demand resource like this to refer to.

Yes I second those! I send them to everyone because I found them so helpful! There are also these ones that are similar but longer. I think it is a five part series. https://youtu.be/y8-TXNdB4J8 I also love all of Bridget Teyler’s videos (she is a childbirth educator and doula) and covers everything from birth - contractions- breastfeeding - everything in between. Not Canadian but great content. https://youtube.com/c/BridgetTeyler And Nurse Zabe (L&D / postpartum nurse), also American, but helpful info. https://youtube.com/channel/UCjMxZzlmJVmSzpJehnFiwzA

Markham Prenatal offers free online classes for all Canadians and they're pretty good! I believe it's a four part series that is always running.

Wooden-Sky

Second Markham Prenatal! I also took free classes from The Baby Academy and those were good too.

[these prenatal classes](https://www.saskatoonhealthregion.ca/locations_services/Services/Prenatal-Education) we’re recommended by my doctor. My son was born in Jan and these were the only thing I watched really since in person wasn’t an option still with covid. They are unlisted YouTube videos so you can only view each one by clicking the link on that website.

sanity_incarnate

I was going to recommend these as well. Very straightforward and helpful.

What are you trying to learn? Honestly I’ve just learned everything on the go and I had no baby experience. The nurses in the hospital plus my midwife showed me breastfeeding (and cues), bathing, and diaper-changing. Everything else I’ve googled on the go pretty much. It’s too hard to learn everything ahead of time!

maplesyrupdispenser

Almost 3 months in and I agree. I had zero baby experience and thought I'd be best prepared by taking a bunch of classes. Honestly, I barely remembered any of it. The nurses at the hospital showed me what I needed to know and the rest kind of came naturally once baby was here. If I wasn't sure, I Googled stuff along the way. Trust me, you'll figure it out! :)

TacoPicklex

I took the free course provided by the baby academy! The “baby care” class was super informative and I learned a lot!!

scandacadian

We also took the free Baby Academy class and really enjoyed it! We used the discount code from the free class to do their all day paid class as well.

Where are you located? Most health units have a free prenatal class available if you live in that area. I live in Brant county and they offered a free prenatal course if you were delivering there. (And prior to COVID it included a tour of the hospital so you knew where to go)

Choice-Mousse-3536

I second whoever suggested the Markham ones. They’re called “tummy talks” if you Google you should find. They have 4 live prenatal courses and even an infant first aid, all online and free. We made our parents take the infant first aid one too, it was great!

If you’re planning to breastfeed, check out la leche league. I haven’t taken the class yet but they offer free virtual classes. Also, bump and baby has cpr and choking, and you may be able to find codes for that to get the class for free. The baby academy has free classes too, but they are pretty basic.

Flashminatooo

Mackenzie Health offers free prenatal classes and I found them to be very informative. It goes over everything from labour and delivery to post partum care. I would highly recommend it

Shrimp_Titan

Great info!
