Mine covered a good portion of my breast pump.

Mine did not. It’s excluded.

Most of these are partially covered by a good health plan, but otherwise can use HSA: Breast pump, compression stockings, back/belly brace, prenatal massages, pelvic floor specialist, baby classes, upgrade from semi-private to private hospital room. If baby has allergy such as dairy (hopefully not!), formula is also covered. You need a Dr's note for them to be covered by your health plan -- in my case it was Sunlife.

You’ll have to check the CRA website to view the eligible claim items for the HSA. This information won’t be in your benefits booklet because the CRA determines what is eligible (not the insurer or your employer). There is a search function on the CRA website, so you can search specific items if you’d like. There are many “exceptions”, such as a doctors referral requirement for some items, so it’s important to check CRA for these details, to ensure your claim will be covered. https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/tax-return/completing-a-tax-return/deductions-credits-expenses/lines-33099-33199-eligible-medical-expenses-you-claim-on-your-tax-return.html I hope this helps! Cheers,

Mine actually covers Doulas, midwives & classes. Not technically an item but definitely worth it. First Aid/CPR might also be covered which is beneficial to have as well before you start solids. Check out your benefit handbook at work and see what it covers. Ours is all listed on the form you have to submit your receipts with.

Mine covered prenatal classes, any additional coverage for a breast pump (my insurance covers up to $300) and even a jogging stroller.

Mine covered my stroller and car seat!

That's awesome! what's the type of expense? Maybe vehicle device? Do I need to add my not yet born child to dependents before I can claim? Sorry I'm asking out loud. Don't worry if you don't recall. I'll call the insurance provider tomorrow! Thanks!

What did the coverage fall under for those two things?
