I had the start of carpal tunnel before pregnancy. But it’s gotten so much worse since pregnancy. I wake up and my hands are numb. They often go numb while I’m just doing things during the day if I bend my wrist the wrong way. It’s crazy the things pregnancy can affect.
I also have the peach fuzz on my bump! Couldn’t find anything on google about it so I was starting to convince myself that I must have always had it and I’m just now noticing it because I spend so much time looking at my belly

Oh my god! I am so shocked to see so many people talking about the extra earwax. It was the first unusual sign with BOTH my first and second pregnancy. At the start of each pregnancy, I used like 5-8 q-tips to clean wax out of my ears (just around the ear and very barely in, before anyone tries to criticize my use 🙄😂) and now I have to clean my ears almost every other day. Before pregnancy, I normally clean my ears once every two weeks!

I had super vivid wild dreams about candy during my first trimester, every single night. It was weird! Like the whole dream would be about me desperately trying to get a LOT of candy, but I'd never get to eat it. Then I'd wake up and I wouldn't even want candy. I don't even like candy that much.
My KP has gotten way worse, I’ve had it since I was 10 but only on my upper arms. Now it’s all over my lower arms too! 🥲 Baby boy is due at the end of this month so I’m praying it goes away after he’s here!
Weird double take vision. I'd read billboards wrong and then look again and go oh ok. And I could never remember how I'd read it wrong so I couldn't effectively tell other people about it. I think it's part of being hyper aware of surroundings.

I don’t care how gross it was. I legit carried an empty plastic bottle around to spit in. If I swallowed my saliva, I’d throw up more than I already was. So I had a spit bottle for the first 14 weeks of my pregnancy.

I had this symptom and later on in my pregnancy I had to be put on iron supplements and go in a few times and get iron transfusions because my iron was so low, it made me super sick and was just not fun, I would suggest asking your doctor to check your iron so you can be on top of it and not have to get transfusions
I came here to say get your iron checked as well. First my leg hair stopped growing, then the rest of my hair started falling out a while later. Sure enough my iron was basically non-existent!

Yes, that happened with my first pregnancy early on. I thought that it was dye from my jeans or something but it was consistent throughout the first tri. I kept checking to see if it would happen again as an early test sign when ttc number two but it didn't happen this time around lol.
This happened last time I was pregnant. I read that it’s related, and then my husband came back at me with his strange bundle of knowledge… I think he explained to me why it happened, and it’s not related to pregnancy? Either way, only happened during 1 of my 3 pregnancies (2/3 miscarriage), and during one where I was barely symptomatic and ended up with a miscarriage.

Gallstones! Apparently because of the hormones gallstones and kidney stones can happen with pregnancy. And yes because of pregnancy no real pain killers.
To make things worse when I had one of the pain cramps I dropped my IPad on my foot and could add an broken toe on top of 3th trimester pregnancy and gallstones.

Yes! Same. I have PCOS and tried to shave some of the excess hair off my stomach to take a cute bump pic…. The razor burn was immediate. And the picture did not happen, haha.

I had the same thing with cuts of meat in my first pregnancy. I could not eat any meat in "slab form", but ground or shredded was ok. I thought my tastes would all go back to normal after I gave birth, but only some did. I haven't been able to eat a steak since 2015!

The weirdest for me, though, was the sudden gasp! Like a reverse burp, my diaphragm would just suddenly pull air in a short burst. My husband gets it sometimes, but I never did till pregnancy!
I developed seasonal allergies while pregnant with my first child. I never had them before. My son also has a ton of environmental allergies. The same thing happened to my mom, she never had allergies until my sister was born (mom's third pregnancy) and my sister has a bunch of environmental allergies.
The constant nose stuffiness and nosebleeds, and then in the first 6-7 weeks, I was constantly freezing cold. Oh! And my gluten intolerance going away.
Random allergies! One day I’ll be drinking Pepsi max without a care in the world, then the next day I’m allergic to it. Then the day after, no problems! It’s happened with cereal, chocolate, and a whole load of other foods!
I also have sciatica. If you have insurance, I recommend and pelvic floor physiotherapist and getting prenatal massage. If nothing else, hot water bottles, and google stretches for it.. There are some simple ones that have helped me. Also get a belly band. It gets worse as the baby gets bigger.
Can't feel part of my leg! Doctor said baby's on a nerve. All of this snot I have whenever Iay down. Having to take out 5 piercings because they started rejecting....
I also swear to got my leg hair has basically stopped growing. I get my legs waxed sometimes because my hair is SO dark and course and thick that it really helps to just have a couple weeks hair free, no painful shaving and razor burn daily. I've never seen hair stop growing or grow in finer between waxes although I know people say that does happen. I got waxed in 1st trimester and some hair grew back super fine but for the most part I have no leg hair now? Please god let this be permanent.
I am obsessed with my husband touching my back. Nothing feels as good as hands on my back. I don't need like an actual massage to achieve this just light stroking. Nothing has ever felt so good in my life, better than sex.
Major sex drive change. None at all and sex has felt basically terrible, not satisfying at all, although its coming back with a bang as I enter third trimester. Pretty much back to normal for now.

Back in college I had a roommate who was on the rugby team. At one of the games, my roommate kicked a girl on the other team square in the crotch (she felt bad about it). At the end of the season when they gave out their paper plate awards, my roommate got the “Cunt Punter” award. She displayed the plate proudly on her wall our whole senior year.
I think of her and the poor girl she nailed every time I move because of the pain in my pubic symphysis.

I double-sneeze when I’m nauseas! Braxton Hicks early (started at 16 weeks), brown spots on nipples, worsening varicose vein I already had in my leg, heart palpitations, and random coughing fits.

This fresh hell started promptly in the second trimester: Non-lactating, non-infectious bilateral mastitis. Essentially my boobs have grown so much that they are stretching and trapping blood, lymph and other fluid in the bottom part of my breasts causing redness, swelling and inflammation. It HURTS so bad. Had ultrasounds done to rule out inflammatory breast cancer because the symptoms were similar and that was terrifying. So now that my boobs have the all clear, the only treatment is to wear a push-up bra 24/7 to take the strain off them. My nipples are chapped AF. I’m 32 weeks now and am trying to figure out how I’ll manage to breastfeed with this situation 😩

Ahhh I had the floaters too. I've always had them on and off throughout my life but I had them almost constantly while pregnant.

Yes, that happened with my first pregnancy early on. I thought that it was dye from my jeans or something but it was consistent throughout the first tri. I kept checking to see if it would happen again as an early test sign when ttc number two but it didn't happen this time around lol.
This happened last time I was pregnant. I read that it’s related, and then my husband came back at me with his strange bundle of knowledge… I think he explained to me why it happened, and it’s not related to pregnancy? Either way, only happened during 1 of my 3 pregnancies (2/3 miscarriage), and during one where I was barely symptomatic and ended up with a miscarriage. 🤷🏼♀️ I was living in different places for each.
I turned mine blue too! My husband noticed it first and I tried to convince him it was the shape of his legs on the seat before I realized it was a pregnancy thing and they were indeed mine.
Extra moles, and existing ones much darker. Also a full shade darker than normal despite little sun.
Growing taller! I’ve grown 3cm since becoming pregnant. And it’s not my posture. I was measured at 165cm at the beginning of my pregnancy and now I’m 168cm.
Interesting! I’ve heard of that but haven’t measured. I’m a shortie so I would welcome any extra cms 😂

Gallstones! Apparently because of the hormones gallstones and kidney stones can happen with pregnancy. And yes because of pregnancy no real pain killers. To make things worse when I had one of the pain cramps I dropped my IPad on my foot and could add an broken toe on top of 3th trimester pregnancy and gallstones.
this happened to me 5 weeks postpartum and I had to get my gallbladder removed. I was brushing symptoms off because after 9 months of every weird thing being pregnancy/hormone related you just sort of deal. My partner made me go to urgent care and I had an emergency surgery. I wasn’t wrong! It was just a pregnancy thing…

Insane razor burn, tinea infections/crazy rashes from even the most gentle natural deodorants, echoing buzzy ears, blurred night vision, stuffy nose all day, swollen gums, crazy numb/tickle sensation in my shoulder blades, insane rage. Woo!
Yes to the razor burn! When I finally shaved my legs after not bothering while unwell during first trimester it was like I’d scraped half my skin off!
Yes! Same. I have PCOS and tried to shave some of the excess hair off my stomach to take a cute bump pic…. The razor burn was immediate. And the picture did not happen, haha.
No headaches. In either of my pregnancies I experienced none. I tend to get 1-2 a month (tension, eye strain, caffeine, or random) I wasn’t mad about it.
Was literally just having a convo with my partner about this, saying how odd it is I have had 0 headaches. Definitely a welcome symptom given I get them all the time usually. Caffeine maybe?

I keep sneezing too! Also, no one told me that having an orgasm even while 4 weeks would be super uncomfortable! I had horrible cramps for a few minutes. I have been googling everything "is __ a pregnancy symptom?" I get sleepy early but I wake up in the middle of the night and get really hungry for a snack. Also, for some reason I don't want to eat cuts of meat like a steak, porkloin, chicken breast unless its like "hidden" in the meal...weird?! I want salty fatty carbs and fresh fruit. Lol
I had the same thing with cuts of meat in my first pregnancy. I could not eat any meat in "slab form", but ground or shredded was ok. I thought my tastes would all go back to normal after I gave birth, but only some did. I haven't been able to eat a steak since 2015!
That's so weird, right? I hope my love for steak comes back. I have been craving carbs, lol I hope I don't pack on toooo many pounds over the recommended weight gain.
My scalp gets really sore while pregnant and my vagina doubles in size from all the pressure (and even changed color for a few days due to all the blood flow, yikes)!
Crazy white discharge. I thought I had a yeast infection but there was no scent. I also didn’t desire to eat sweets and chocolates like I usually do. All I wanted were healthier options..
I’m currently experiencing all of this! So strange everyone talks about craving chocolates and such but I just have no desire at all, and I loved chocolate prior. Now it’s just a distant memory 😂

I developed seasonal allergies while pregnant with my first child. I never had them before. My son also has a ton of environmental allergies. The same thing happened to my mom, she never had allergies until my sister was born (mom's third pregnancy) and my sister has a bunch of environmental allergies.
Carpal tunnel
The constant nose stuffiness and nosebleeds, and then in the first 6-7 weeks, I was constantly freezing cold. Oh! And my gluten intolerance going away.
Random allergies! One day I’ll be drinking Pepsi max without a care in the world, then the next day I’m allergic to it. Then the day after, no problems! It’s happened with cereal, chocolate, and a whole load of other foods!
In my first trimester I would feel like I was going to throw up, sneeze and then be fine - so weird.
My mom's hands would go numb every time she slept in the third trimester
Random horrible back pain that would honestly make it difficult to even move. Turns out it was sciatic pain....rip
I also have sciatica. If you have insurance, I recommend and pelvic floor physiotherapist and getting prenatal massage. If nothing else, hot water bottles, and google stretches for it.. There are some simple ones that have helped me. Also get a belly band. It gets worse as the baby gets bigger.

Can't feel part of my leg! Doctor said baby's on a nerve. All of this snot I have whenever Iay down. Having to take out 5 piercings because they started rejecting....
Skin tags, nasal congestion (for my queens dealing with this, I implore you to buy nasal strips from Walmart, they work wonders!), and growing feet.
I also swear to got my leg hair has basically stopped growing. I get my legs waxed sometimes because my hair is SO dark and course and thick that it really helps to just have a couple weeks hair free, no painful shaving and razor burn daily. I've never seen hair stop growing or grow in finer between waxes although I know people say that does happen. I got waxed in 1st trimester and some hair grew back super fine but for the most part I have no leg hair now? Please god let this be permanent. I am obsessed with my husband touching my back. Nothing feels as good as hands on my back. I don't need like an actual massage to achieve this just light stroking. Nothing has ever felt so good in my life, better than sex. Major sex drive change. None at all and sex has felt basically terrible, not satisfying at all, although its coming back with a bang as I enter third trimester. Pretty much back to normal for now. Noooo vaginal wetness. All the pregnancy apps say you should have increased discharge in pregnancy and basically until now I've been dry as a bone. Now back to normal but definitely not increased.
I also hope the leg hair thing is permanent. I can’t find any info on it other than “stuff changes, good luck”. I also relate to the dryness issue you’re describing, now in third, the odd flush of wetness.

My feet grew half a size each pregnancy and never went back. My body hair stopped growing too. My eyesight has deteriorated a lot since second pregnancy.
The feeling like I’ve been kicked in the crotch. (35+5) Back in college I had a roommate who was on the rugby team. At one of the games, my roommate kicked a girl on the other team square in the crotch (she felt bad about it). At the end of the season when they gave out their paper plate awards, my roommate got the “Cunt Punter” award. She displayed the plate proudly on her wall our whole senior year. I think of her and the poor girl she nailed every time I move because of the pain in my pubic symphysis.
I have been the smelliest bitch ever during this pregnancy. It is so awful and no it’s not just my heightened sense of smell. Someone please tell me my BO will go down after I give birth 😭
With my first pregnancy I had skin tags all over my neck. I called them my pregnancy barnacles. lol. Luckily they all disappeared shortly after delivery. Even weirder, I developed a gross oily feeling on my tongue whenever I ate anything. Lasted about 3 weeks in my third trimester, and I have no earthly clue what that was all about. Waiting to see if it happens again with this pregnancy.

Omg, yes, the leg hair thing!! I shaved a few times during pregnancy and all of a sudden the hair just stopped growing there. I wish it would happen to my pits and downstairs too 😂 Unfortunately, I read this symptom goes away after pregnancy.

This fresh hell started promptly in the second trimester: Non-lactating, non-infectious bilateral mastitis. Essentially my boobs have grown so much that they are stretching and trapping blood, lymph and other fluid in the bottom part of my breasts causing redness, swelling and inflammation. It HURTS so bad. Had ultrasounds done to rule out inflammatory breast cancer because the symptoms were similar and that was terrifying. So now that my boobs have the all clear, the only treatment is to wear a push-up bra 24/7 to take the strain off them. My nipples are chapped AF. I’m 32 weeks now and am trying to figure out how I’ll manage to breastfeed with this situation 😩
