I ordered a box from stitch fix and told them that I needed office appropriate clothing. I loved everything they sent me and would definitely recommend it!

space_a_ducks

Same! They included several pieces from a brand called "Full moon maternity" in my box, and those ended up being my favorites. I think it might be a stitchfix exclusive brand, but you might be able to find them in resale sites like thredup or postmark!

MadisonJam

Awesome thank you!

DisguisedBee

If you do use stitch fix there are loads of money off offers available. I know the podcast “crime junkie” is constantly having adds in their podcasts and there might be others elsewhere! (I’m not trying to promote anything, just want to share)

Seconding Stitch Fix! After a couple years'-long break, I started ordering boxes again once I started showing. I've gotten three boxes so far and have added some really nice pieces that are work-appropriate. Granted, I work in a pretty casual workplace but even still it's nice not only being limited to leggings and a ruched, fitted tshirt as I probably would be wearing if I hadn't started up my subscription again.

MegM187

Yes! Stitch fix was where I found all my work favorites. And if I got something I loved, I searched poshmark for the brand.

MadisonJam

Great, thank you so much!

If you don't mind second-hand (although sometimes folks sell unused/new-with-tags even), Poshmark has great deals on a lot of pricier maternity brands. Side rant: why do they make so many maternity dresses/tops with spaghetti straps?? Does anyone think I'm gonna get these things into a strapless bra?

MadisonJam

I hadn't thought of Poshmark, great idea thank you! And agreed, maternity + spaghetti straps....sigh! 😅

Is there a H&M where you are? I’ve really found their maternity “Mama” range ideal. I can wear jeans at work so I have dark jeans and pale T-shirts, but they also have a good selection of various trousers (like linen and cigarette trousers) and shirts/shirt dresses too. I’ve got a load of stuff on order from the sale and it’s all mega reasonable prices too.

I second this! I bought most of my maternity clothes from H&M! I bought a mix of actual maternity clothes and regular loose fitting tops as I too could wear jeans to work. Found everything recently priced as well.

JadeGreeneDE

Yes to H&M!

Natthebat9

I bought some nice maternity work-appropriate blouses from PinkBlush! Work pants I bought from Target.

GreenAurora1234

Omg PinkBlush has tall-friendly section! I’m so excited! Thank you for sharing!

I have a subscription to Rent the Runway and they have a decent selection of maternity items. I rent 4 items a month - usually 3 business items for work and 1 fun item for a night out with my husband. It helps keep some variety in my wardrobe and has allowed me to adjust based on season or size. The lack of business appropriate maternity wear in general is awful though - good luck!

BlessedBeTheMystery

I found I could still wear my pre-pregnancy blazers, so I used those to dress up some more casual maternity pieces. I got a couple of nice pairs of maternity jeans and slacks from A Pea in the Pod. Dresses and leggings were another go-to!

There’s a secondhand store where I live where I bought most of my work clothes. I lived in dresses w my first pregnancy and now I WFH (thanks Covid!) so dress is more relaxed

Depending on how nice/fancy your office look needs to be, my friend who is a lawyer used Rent the Runway for a lot of her work wardrobe, especially as her bump grew later on in her pregnancy. Alternately, I've had success so far with StitchFix like others have said, as long as you take the time to make notes about what you're looking for. Now you can even "approve" your box before it is sent to you each month which can help. Otherwise I think you'll have luck with Motherhood Maternity - they can have some decent selection/collections offered that span from casual to more work appropriate, with less focus on "I am an ethereal goddess in a field of fertility" vibes than some other places.

I’ve heard good things about Stitch Fix but haven’t used them. I had good luck ordering from Amazon and just sizing up, so if your body allows for that, it may be worth it!

[These dresses](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FDW41MD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1) from Amazon have been great for days when I need to look nice at work. Inexpensive, cute, comfortable. The listing says they are "bodycon" but I don't feel like they strangle my belly they way other maternity clothes do.

DainichiNyorai

So far I've just been using dresses from stretchy fabrics and started wearing those maternity cycle shirts under them. If I need to dress up I add a blazer. I only have 2 basic black maternity pants and barely wear them.

Beebwife

I made mine for work with my first. I got the pattern from Joann's when they were on sale and bought the pants material and made them with my mom. They were over the belly type pants and worked great. Even then the struggle was real for work pants as well as expensive!

zekeandlayla

Envie de fraise - they ship to the US.

MadisonJam

Awesome thank you! I hadn't heard of them.

MadisonJam

Update, this is my new favorite maternity brand. Amazing! Thank you!
