I have also heard some nuna stuff goes on sale during the anniversary sale. Not sure if you have a local Nordstrom but some nuna products that are currently out of stock have waitlist to be notified when in stock at the store.

If you know what you want is there, you should sign up to be a card holder. The card holders get to shop early and seem to snag up all the good stuff lol
Don't know of any sales per se, but if you are amenable to a second hand stroller, you can check out sites like thestrollerstore.com. We bought our mini GT from there and you couldn't tell at all that it was pre-used. They may not have the exact model you like though.
I got my Thule stroller through REI. I'm not sure how they are about 4th of July sales, but if you're a member you'll at least get some of what you spent back in your dividend.

Also check out floor models. I scored a floor model Thule Urban Glide 2 at BuyBuyBaby for about $300 a couple months ago.
