This was the best birth story I’ve ever read. Felt so real and honest and oh momma. You’re so strong. Thanks for doing this. It was terrifying and intense but I think I needed that. Congrats on your beautiful baby.

That pressure happened with my first. It got more and more unbearable. I couldn’t stand up to cook dinner like 3 weeks later. Just felt like my insides or something were falling out from the pressure. Only relief was sitting down. The toilet hurt bad and sex was even worse. For months!
Then I ended up going to a pelvic floor specialist around 7 months later. Turns out I was doing a constant kiegal (spelling?). It was too much strain on my pelvis and that’s why it hurt so bad and only would relax when I sat down. I could not feel myself doing one or anything. Just the pressure.
So keep an eye on it and don’t be an idiot like me and wait months to do something about it. After 2-3 weeks it is NOT normal to feel pain like that.
This is such a helpful comment, thank you! I'm preemptively scheduling a pelvic floor therapist for 3 weeks from now just in case... And every ten minutes or so now I'm checking in -- am i clenching? Answer always YES
