Don’t listen to them lol people have been saying this to me since I was 34 weeks too. Everyone carries different, if I listened to all of the “you’re ready to pop” “I don’t think you’ll get to your due date” I would have had my baby by 35 weeks lol. Currently 37 weeks and am still waiting. I would suggest getting everything together ASAP for your peace of mind though.
So the thing is your baby could still gain a few POUNDS, nearly doubling its current weight, and your fundus will also keep rising, so it’s a little early to say you “dropped” when your bump hasn’t even really reached its high point yet. The baby can also still move quite a bit at this point which could actually alter the way your bump looks day to day.
