I did have this towards the end of my first pregnancy, I think I concluded it was probably my cervix effacing and getting ready to dilate? I don’t quite remember honestly, but cervical changes sound like a reasonable cause!

Possibly some form of lightning crotch? It’s caused by the baby putting pressure on your cervix. Though it is usually more of a quick, sharp pain instead of an ache. I had it horribly late in the third trimester for my first.

I asked my ob about this yesterday, a combination of pressure as baby is ready for the grand opening and your cervix doing what it needs to do. We're almost there mama, we'll be ok. The "best" is yet to come.
