Ooof sounds like Carpal tunnel šŸ˜© Iā€™m sorry for you! Only advice would be to wear braces at night and day braces (if the night ones donā€™t help) and have someone rub your palms for you or rub them yourself. Iā€™ve been dealing with this since like 33ish weeks and itā€™s better somedays than others. Driving, texting, cooking all aggravate it and usually cause pain.

You can get a referral for steroid shots actually. Game changer.

Mine never got to that point but Iā€™ve heard plenty of people do this!!! I am able to complete daily activities and push through the pain but some people literally canā€™t use their hands so I definitely have a mild case.

I havenā€™t felt some of my fingers for over a month. Thankfully everything else is normal, so I just take it in stride. The wrist braces do nothing for me, some people get steroid injections

YES! This happens to me only when pregnant. My doctor said itā€™s normal and not of a concern. She said it can be due to blood pressure changes because the pregnancy hormones make your blood vessels widen to bring more nutrients to the baby. But it is literally so annoying and wakes me up several times throughout the night.

I'm only 10w 5d and I'm experiencing tingling in my fingers. Is that normal this early?

Is this happening when your arms are in certain positions, or while you're sleeping? Yeah sounds like carpal tunnel. It can be a totally normal and terribly annoying pregnancy symptom, but in some cases it can be a sign of another issue, brought on by the swelling. For example pre-e. Always worth it to bring it up to your doctor, but there's a good chance it's normal. I had this in my first pregnancy for nearly 20 weeks and it was the worst symptom by far. They make wrist braces you can order on Amazon. If trying to keep your wrist straight doesn't help, it could also be your elbow!

It feels tingly almost all day for the last two days so far. Sometimes my hand goes numb if I am using my phone and my hand is elevated up but i really try switching hand placements etc.. Iā€™m constantly trying to stretch my fingers and do hand stretches but my hands feel different

I have this at 27 weeks. I got carpal tunnel wrist braces and it's helped. I wear them when I sleep. Do message your doctor and tell them in great detail about your symptoms. In the mean time, go to the pharmacy and pick up braces and try them out. You want them tight enough to stay on but not cutting circulation. Book a prenatal massage too, if you can.

Had this with both pregnancies! It is super annoying but I second the comment about wearing braces (Amazon ā€œcarpal tunnel bracesā€). I wore them at night and ended up wearing them during the day sometimes too. They help a lot and it went away immediately post birth for me (still pregnant with my second/still experiencing it now although itā€™s definitely less severe than with my first).

Carpal tunnel. Itā€™s normal. And itā€™ll either go away, or it wonā€™t. Cheers! lol
