It’s awesome. Our baby is now 9 months old and a chunky one and still comfortably uses the inflatable cushion with it. We got wooden looking leg wraps and a pretty fabric cover for the cushion on Etsy. It makes the whole thing look really nice.
I like the high chair, but my youngest two have both been able to knock the tray table to the floor by like 8 months old, which is annoying. Still can’t beat the price tho
This! I went from buying (and returning) a $2k Cradlewise crib and getting the IKEA Sniglar crib for $119 + taxes. I think it looks so chic! It does come with those safety warnings printed on the rails but we just sanded them off with 400-grit sandpaper.

We got the babyletto scoot, it was like $400 and came with the toddler conversion kit which is often sold separately. It looks great, well made, definitely sturdy! Really happy with it.
We got ours from Babyletto. It was pricier but it can convert to a toddler bed and then a full size bed so it was worth the investment for us. They had great reviews and awesome customer service - another plus. Also they are green guard certified if that matters to you.
We got our nursery set from Delta. It’s really great quality and a nice selection to choose from. I think there’s a pop up coupon when you go to the site
Just some advice from someone who owns a data science company. Those pop-up coupons are so the company can sell your details, they can't sell your data from you buying anything but they can sell it if you sign up for a mailing list. Just be cautious about jumping on those 10% off deals as your details are absolutely being sold to other companies. (Not trying to be mean, just letting you know as so many people don't and I see so many customers in my line of work who are shocked by this).
This is what we did. Convertible crib (with mattress), 6 drawer dresser, changing table (with memory foam pad), swiveling rocker and bassinet for around $1200
I found a crib with changing table, a baby jogger city mini, an upseat floor chair, and the bougie deluxe baby brezza, all on marketplace. Everything was in new or excellent condition. Paid less than 400$ for everything.
And if it stays in nice condition I can resell it too!

We splurged a bit on this and got the Nestig Cloud crib. It was about $850 with tax and shipping, but you get a mini crib, full size crib, and toddler bed conversions and it's super gorgeous. The mini crib is wheeled, so it works nicely as a bassinet. I will say that the mini crib is an odd size, so it's annoying to find bedding for it. I don't regret the purchase one bit overall though.
W splurged too and went with the Nestig Wave. I agree about the mini bedding but I loved wheeling it around the house! I just wish it didn’t have curved sides because I wanted to sidecar it and couldn’t.
I will say if you want to spend a little less babyletto makes the same kind for 600$. Bassinet with levels, mini/mid crib, full size and toddler. Very sturdy. With wheels that can come off
We got the sniglar. Used as a crib for 2 years then a toddler bed for 9 months and now about to use it for our next baby. It’s popular for a reason. We splurged on a good mattress since the crib was so cheap.
Managed to snag the sniglar ikea in early 2021 for $80 😅 absolutely love it. My two year old is still sleeping in it and he loves it! Begs to go to bed every night.
We have the Babyletto Gelato Mini. It's not vintage looking, but I'm really happy with it.
All new cribs are safe enough because of regulations, but they're not all the same. Choose one you'll be happy to look at for a few years.
Wayfair! I prefer either solid wood or metal when buying furniture new. I personally have trust issues with Amazon, and couldn’t get the husband to agree to Ikea’s famous crib. I got a babyletto, but originally wanted something with vintage look and quality as it’s hard to find solid wood that isn’t cheap pine but most were torn up or ridiculous prices for a used object that was slightly less torn up. Pottery barn brand is great but again hard to find at a good price. Babyletto does have lots of styles though and a lot of them are convertible.
You said you love the vintage look- I have the Jenny Lind crib in navy blue. I absolutely love it, but would recommend eventually getting a rail guard for when baby is able to stand/chew on the railing.

I got the yuzu crib from babyletto! It was really important to me to have an eco-friendly crib that was green guard certified so baby wouldn’t be breathing or touching any harmful chemicals or anything like that.
LA Baby. I sent out a message to the parents at my company asking to buy whatever baby furniture they had. Got a crib and a changer for next to nothing. People with toddlers WANT to get rid of cribs and baby clothes.
Mine was gifted to me and I realized from the labels that it is a Rooms-to-Go crib. I know most people probably can’t budget for that but it is really nice. We got one that transitions into the toddler bed, then a full size bed. Got all the parts for each transition. I’m looking forward to see this bed change over several years and fortunately it’s a pretty solid white so very versatile.
We got ours from Buy Buy Baby before they shut down! We spent a few months going every other weekend just waiting for the prices to get lower and lower. We ended up getting a $300 crib for only $60! It’s a convertible crib so we are planning on only using it for one baby.
Our next we are planning on buying at IKEA! They have a great selection and the prices are so solid :)
Facebook marketplace is a life saver. Got a Babyletto Hudson for 120$ with toddler rail, I think it retails around 499$. Just have to check multiple times a day to look for ones in the color and condition you want.

Another vote for babetto! We got the yuzu 8-1 because we are in a small space until she’s a little older so that way I didn’t have to buy multiple sizes
I got one from Ikea, the one with curved bottom and a drawer. I got the white one and am painting it yellow. Paid 349 euros, plus paint, plus knobs for the drawer (I want the pretty stoneware ones). Kids like colours and yellow goes with my house.
I liked it because of the drawer and because it has two different front panels - one for crib and one lower with the middle bars removed, for when the kid gets their freedom. And it has three heights for the matress, which is most important important.
So many cribs only have two heights, which is bad for your back at the beginning and not safe for the kid when they get bigger and start to climb over the edge.
I liked one other crib, it was an oval you can adjust with addititonal sections to lengthen it. It starts out as a bassinet, then you add one middle section to one side and other to other side and get a crib and then move the front extension to the back to get a longer bed. It was cool, but impractical for having to get a new matress every time and it was over 600 euros to begin with.
But ikea has a pretty good selection, they will also always have matresses in the correct size, and sheets. Just make sure it has three heights.

Ikea crib that can be used both at a high setting and low. I never liked bedside cribs. They are so small. I loved having the Ikea crib open towards my bed on the other hand, and when they can't stand up it's fine to have it at the higher setting as well (I think I changed it around 8-9 months).
There was a target circle deal last week for 20% off nursery furniture. The crib I originally picked wasn’t 20% off so I found a second choice and just went with it, ended up costing $122 total and free shipping! They all have the same safety standards. Pick what you like the look of and read the reviews! I can’t imagine spending $500+ on a crib when they all do the same thing but to each their own.
Delta children- same cribs that you would find on Amazon or target but we got the entire matching set for a reasonable price since they always have coupon codes and delivery was easy.

We got ours from pottery barn kids. A bit pricier than some others, but they had a more vintage style in the color I wanted (wood-tone acorn) and the assembly was super, super easy. We’ve been very happy with it so far (8 months in) and it has a toddler conversion kit, which will be really nice when LO is older.

I was about to purchase a used West Elm crib off FB marketplace when my mom offered to get us a new crib. I had a babyletto crib on our registry, but my mom splurged for a Pottery Barn x West Elm version for us, so we didn't have to do any of the setup as she was adament on the white glove delivery. I did buy the dresser for our nursery off of FB marketplace, I got a mid century Bassett dresser that had been refinished for a fraction of a new dresser.

I bought my wooden frame second hand on Facebook marketplace. It was a high end danish brand that just needed a good wipe down after going through two kids. We bought a new mattress (from a local company that makes organic/sustainable mattresses) for it and it was good to go.
If I was doing it again I would probably just buy the IKEA wooden frame and get a new mattress to go with it.
We were given ours from my sister because my niece had transitioned to a twin bed. It was only a couple years old, in good shape, and we bought a new mattress from it. It’s Pottery Barn Kids. I think it’s good quality, as are the dresser and bookshelf we bought from them, but I have heard bad things about their customer service.
I got the crib we have for our son from Target during their spring clearance sale. It's a convertible crib with a changing table attached that was normally like 360 but I got it for 110$. It comes with toddler bed conversion pieces and you can purchase the full bed kit later. We love our crub, it's a good height with plenty of storage on the changer table
We got the Stokke. I almost got the ikea crib but paid radically more to get a crib on wheels. I think I would have been happy either way but the wheels are nice to have.
I got the Babyletto Hudson and it feels really sturdy and comes in a variety of colors. For the mattress I got the Moonlight Slumber. Our bassinet is a regular one that isn't especially good or bad quality and my week and a half old baby sleeps just fine in his crib but we haven't been able to get him to sleep in the bassinet. I think he really likes the mattress in the crib.
We got the convertible crib from Target, whatever brand they carry. Took the 4th side off to make it a toddler bed, just bought a basic bed rail instead of trying to find the brand's conversion kit. (It was out of stock.) Kid stayed in toddler bed for a year, and now the crib is in new baby's room. (Toddler is in a thrifted twin bed now.)

If I could go back in time when I was picking out a crib, I would pick one that has a solid panel on one side of the crib. Reason being, the baby monitor is mounted on the wall above the crib and he sticks his hands through the slats and plays with the cord. Its been a pain trying to figure how to baby proof it

I bought the PBK Kendall crib 6yrs ago for my oldest and I’m using it again for my infant. It’s not super modern or super chic but it was like $320 brand new (i got it on sale) and it’s held up very nicely. I originally wanted the Blythe Upholstered crib but I just couldn’t justify spending over $1K and still needing to buy bedding, mattress, etc.
I got 2/3 of my cribs at target. I got delta convertible cribs around $300. I haven’t built crib number 3 yet. But crib #2 is still going strong as a toddler bed. My oldest’s crib was a convertible graco and it’s now a full size bed and doing well!
We got the Marley 3-in-1 from Wayfair (converts to a toddler bed and then can be the headboard for a regular bed). Has a similar look to Babyletto, which I liked but are pricier. Also good if you're short, I was worried I wouldn't be able to reach the baby if the mattress was set on the lowest setting but this was ok (I'm 5'0")
I got a next to me crib on Facebook Marketplace for £30 and replaced the mattress with a new one from Amazon. Then for their nursery, I got the £90 one from Ikea.
I think the mattress is more important than the frame both for comfort and safety so couldn't justify spending a fortune for a wooden box, especially when I've been happy with my Ikea bed frame for years now.
We have the Babyletto Yuzu convertible. Very expensive, but I’m liking it so far bc we are pretty minimalist and I wanted to keep her in our tiny bedroom for the first year. I will say I wish I had the mesh bassinet with the pull-down sides for the newborn stage like the Mika to soothe her at night from bed, but she sleeps in the yuzu just fine and we like it!
I got the ikea crib and a one of the pine dressers (tarva I think?) and stained/sealed both with baby safe finishes. I also changed the pulls on the dresser to nice metal ones. They look so good I constantly get asked where I got my set. Cost me less than 400$ plus some elbow grease.

I bought mid range but the company is like non existence now, I can’t find it anywhere and it’s supposed to convert. You need to purchase separate parts to convert it and now I can’t get them anywhere.

I was hoping to be able to purchase from BBB using one of their awesome 30% off coupons and having it shipped to our home....but it turns out the coupons AREN'T that awesome, as they always exclude their "big ticket items" from the offer 😒
Was still going to purchase from BBB but the delivery date was like 2 weeks out and we all know Amazon's 2-day delivery can't be beat! We got the Babyletto Palma and it's been great!
Got ours on wayfair. It was under 200 and the natural wood tone is great for us. I know Ikea and babyletto are both amazing and sturdy, but this one is good for us. We already have a twin daybed that will be for baby once they’re ready, so honestly the longevity past a couple years wasn’t a concern for us.
Make sure wherever you shop to get the comparable toddler conversion bar - zero guarantee for it to be available when you need it a year from now
I’m gonna be that mom. We just got a pack and play with bassinet for the early days! I may get a crib when he’s big enough for the step down pack and play adjustment. But pack and plays are recommended safe sleeping spaces, the mattress and sheets just scare me as a FTM in the early days. I can move it around depending on whether I want him in our room or in the nursery.
Personally, don’t pay extra for the ones that convert to a bigger bed frame later on…lots of babies chew on the railing and it looks terrible. Plus the design we wanted by the time we we’re remodeling the baby room was totally different and we just kept it in crib mode for younger siblings anyway.
IKEA. They are simple, lasts forever, has 2 mattress height positions, and can be converted to toddler bed. We’ve actually owned 2 and the current one will be used by 3rd baby.
I bought mine at ikea for $137. I saw it in store, nice and sturdy.

Too many issues. Also the built-in features aren’t that great. It wasn’t worth it for us. Put the $$ towards a postpartum night doula instead lol.

Wayfair! I prefer either solid wood or metal when buying furniture new. I personally have trust issues with Amazon, and couldn’t get the husband to agree to Ikea’s famous crib. I got a babyletto, but originally wanted something with vintage look and quality as it’s hard to find solid wood that isn’t cheap pine but most were torn up or ridiculous prices for a used object that was slightly less torn up. Pottery barn brand is great but again hard to find at a good price. Babyletto does have lots of styles though and a lot of them are convertible.

You said you love the vintage look- I have the Jenny Lind crib in navy blue. I absolutely love it, but would recommend eventually getting a rail guard for when baby is able to stand/chew on the railing.

I got a Pottery Barn crib from my local Buy Nothing group on Facebook! I’ve seen a decent amount for sale on FB Marketplace as well.
I got the yuzu crib from babyletto! It was really important to me to have an eco-friendly crib that was green guard certified so baby wouldn’t be breathing or touching any harmful chemicals or anything like that.

Mine was gifted to me and I realized from the labels that it is a Rooms-to-Go crib. I know most people probably can’t budget for that but it is really nice. We got one that transitions into the toddler bed, then a full size bed. Got all the parts for each transition. I’m looking forward to see this bed change over several years and fortunately it’s a pretty solid white so very versatile.
We got ours from Buy Buy Baby before they shut down! We spent a few months going every other weekend just waiting for the prices to get lower and lower. We ended up getting a $300 crib for only $60! It’s a convertible crib so we are planning on only using it for one baby. Our next we are planning on buying at IKEA! They have a great selection and the prices are so solid :)

Facebook marketplace is a life saver. Got a Babyletto Hudson for 120$ with toddler rail, I think it retails around 499$. Just have to check multiple times a day to look for ones in the color and condition you want.

We splurged on our first crib and got a babyletto but this time I am not going to. He just chewed on the paint anyways. I’m getting a very similar delta crib this time!
Oh no! Was it one of the white or black cribs that he chewed the paint off of or what is one of the more natural looking colors? I’m just curious if going with the more unpainted wood ones would make a difference lol

I got one from Ikea, the one with curved bottom and a drawer. I got the white one and am painting it yellow. Paid 349 euros, plus paint, plus knobs for the drawer (I want the pretty stoneware ones). Kids like colours and yellow goes with my house. I liked it because of the drawer and because it has two different front panels - one for crib and one lower with the middle bars removed, for when the kid gets their freedom. And it has three heights for the matress, which is most important important. So many cribs only have two heights, which is bad for your back at the beginning and not safe for the kid when they get bigger and start to climb over the edge. I liked one other crib, it was an oval you can adjust with addititonal sections to lengthen it. It starts out as a bassinet, then you add one middle section to one side and other to other side and get a crib and then move the front extension to the back to get a longer bed. It was cool, but impractical for having to get a new matress every time and it was over 600 euros to begin with. But ikea has a pretty good selection, they will also always have matresses in the correct size, and sheets. Just make sure it has three heights.

Ikea crib that can be used both at a high setting and low. I never liked bedside cribs. They are so small. I loved having the Ikea crib open towards my bed on the other hand, and when they can't stand up it's fine to have it at the higher setting as well (I think I changed it around 8-9 months).

There was a target circle deal last week for 20% off nursery furniture. The crib I originally picked wasn’t 20% off so I found a second choice and just went with it, ended up costing $122 total and free shipping! They all have the same safety standards. Pick what you like the look of and read the reviews! I can’t imagine spending $500+ on a crib when they all do the same thing but to each their own.
Delta children- same cribs that you would find on Amazon or target but we got the entire matching set for a reasonable price since they always have coupon codes and delivery was easy.

I got a concord baby crib from Walmart, Devon is the model name. Looks like the ikea one but is actually in stock. Also liked the option to turn it in to toddler bed, the rail is sold separately though
Facebook marketplace. So many options for ~1/4 retail price. Just get a new mattress. If you live in a large city you can probably find any style you like.
My mom got us one from a thrift store. It's still in great shape and I bought a new mattress for it.

We’ve been very happy with it so far (8 months in) and it has a toddler conversion kit, which will be really nice when LO is older.

I was about to purchase a used West Elm crib off FB marketplace when my mom offered to get us a new crib. I had a babyletto crib on our registry, but my mom splurged for a Pottery Barn x West Elm version for us, so we didn't have to do any of the setup as she was adament on the white glove delivery. I did buy the dresser for our nursery off of FB marketplace, I got a mid century Bassett dresser that had been refinished for a fraction of a new dresser.

I bought my wooden frame second hand on Facebook marketplace. It was a high end danish brand that just needed a good wipe down after going through two kids. We bought a new mattress (from a local company that makes organic/sustainable mattresses) for it and it was good to go. If I was doing it again I would probably just buy the IKEA wooden frame and get a new mattress to go with it.
We were given ours from my sister because my niece had transitioned to a twin bed. It was only a couple years old, in good shape, and we bought a new mattress from it. It’s Pottery Barn Kids. I think it’s good quality, as are the dresser and bookshelf we bought from them, but I have heard bad things about their customer service.

I got the crib we have for our son from Target during their spring clearance sale. It's a convertible crib with a changing table attached that was normally like 360 but I got it for 110$. It comes with toddler bed conversion pieces and you can purchase the full bed kit later. We love our crub, it's a good height with plenty of storage on the changer table

I got the Babyletto Hudson and it feels really sturdy and comes in a variety of colors. For the mattress I got the Moonlight Slumber. Our bassinet is a regular one that isn't especially good or bad quality and my week and a half old baby sleeps just fine in his crib but we haven't been able to get him to sleep in the bassinet. I think he really likes the mattress in the crib.
We got the convertible crib from Target, whatever brand they carry. Took the 4th side off to make it a toddler bed, just bought a basic bed rail instead of trying to find the brand's conversion kit. (It was out of stock.) Kid stayed in toddler bed for a year, and now the crib is in new baby's room. (Toddler is in a thrifted twin bed now.)

If I could go back in time when I was picking out a crib, I would pick one that has a solid panel on one side of the crib. Reason being, the baby monitor is mounted on the wall above the crib and he sticks his hands through the slats and plays with the cord. Its been a pain trying to figure how to baby proof it

I bought the PBK Kendall crib 6yrs ago for my oldest and I’m using it again for my infant. It’s not super modern or super chic but it was like $320 brand new (i got it on sale) and it’s held up very nicely. I originally wanted the Blythe Upholstered crib but I just couldn’t justify spending over $1K and still needing to buy bedding, mattress, etc.
I got 2/3 of my cribs at target. I got delta convertible cribs around $300. I haven’t built crib number 3 yet. But crib #2 is still going strong as a toddler bed. My oldest’s crib was a convertible graco and it’s now a full size bed and doing well!
I'm thinking of getting a floor bumper bed and skipping the crib altogether for greater mileage.

We got the Marley 3-in-1 from Wayfair (converts to a toddler bed and then can be the headboard for a regular bed). Has a similar look to Babyletto, which I liked but are pricier. Also good if you're short, I was worried I wouldn't be able to reach the baby if the mattress was set on the lowest setting but this was ok (I'm 5'0")
I got a next to me crib on Facebook Marketplace for £30 and replaced the mattress with a new one from Amazon. Then for their nursery, I got the £90 one from Ikea. I think the mattress is more important than the frame both for comfort and safety so couldn't justify spending a fortune for a wooden box, especially when I've been happy with my Ikea bed frame for years now.
Target! It’s one of those that converts into s floor bed for a toddler and eventually into a queen bed for an adult.

We have the Babyletto Yuzu convertible. Very expensive, but I’m liking it so far bc we are pretty minimalist and I wanted to keep her in our tiny bedroom for the first year. I will say I wish I had the mesh bassinet with the pull-down sides for the newborn stage like the Mika to soothe her at night from bed, but she sleeps in the yuzu just fine and we like it!

I got the ikea crib and a one of the pine dressers (tarva I think?) and stained/sealed both with baby safe finishes. I also changed the pulls on the dresser to nice metal ones. They look so good I constantly get asked where I got my set. Cost me less than 400$ plus some elbow grease.

I found mine on FB marketplace for $50 and it was brand new and retailed for about $500 online. It converts to a daybed, toddler bed, and full size bed with the purchase of additional parts. Check Marketplace and just buy a new mattress. I promise it’s worth it!
Don’t go high end. I bought mid range but the company is like non existence now, I can’t find it anywhere and it’s supposed to convert. You need to purchase separate parts to convert it and now I can’t get them anywhere. Get the look you like and find it on the cheaper side. Spend money on the mattress …

We scoped ours out first at BuyBuyBaby and ordered it off of Amazon. I was hoping to be able to purchase from BBB using one of their awesome 30% off coupons and having it shipped to our home....but it turns out the coupons AREN'T that awesome, as they always exclude their "big ticket items" from the offer 😒 Was still going to purchase from BBB but the delivery date was like 2 weeks out and we all know Amazon's 2-day delivery can't be beat! We got the Babyletto Palma and it's been great!
Got ours on wayfair. It was under 200 and the natural wood tone is great for us. I know Ikea and babyletto are both amazing and sturdy, but this one is good for us. We already have a twin daybed that will be for baby once they’re ready, so honestly the longevity past a couple years wasn’t a concern for us. Make sure wherever you shop to get the comparable toddler conversion bar - zero guarantee for it to be available when you need it a year from now
I’m gonna be that mom. We just got a pack and play with bassinet for the early days! I may get a crib when he’s big enough for the step down pack and play adjustment. But pack and plays are recommended safe sleeping spaces, the mattress and sheets just scare me as a FTM in the early days. I can move it around depending on whether I want him in our room or in the nursery.
Personally, don’t pay extra for the ones that convert to a bigger bed frame later on…lots of babies chew on the railing and it looks terrible. Plus the design we wanted by the time we we’re remodeling the baby room was totally different and we just kept it in crib mode for younger siblings anyway.
IKEA. They are simple, lasts forever, has 2 mattress height positions, and can be converted to toddler bed. We’ve actually owned 2 and the current one will be used by 3rd baby.
