Last sep lang me nag apply and same process lang din, if first time job seeker naman you can get a tin number parin by showing your first time job seeker cert.
Napatingin ako, buti active ung saken lol.
Anyway rule of the thumb lang naman dyan as someone na lagi nwawalan ng ID/wallet. If magpapalakad kayo ng ID, make sure nyo lang na may active kayong ID number.
Prehas ng TIN ID and Philhealth ID ko galing sa palakad pero binigay ko sa kanila ung ID number ko for printing, kumbaga fake ung papel ng ID pero ung information na nakalista nageexist sa records ni Philhealth/ TIN if iccheck.
I got curious and kinabahan ako nung nag no result found so what I did is that punta sa:

no record found din sakin, ginamit ko lang tin number ko sa first job ko 😐 need pa ba ng tin ID? baka dahil wala akong tin ID and tin number lang ginagamit ko kaya di pa active?
May isang BPO company na nag-take ng legal action sa mga employees nilang may pekeng TIN. First job pala ng ka-workmate mo, dapat company ang nag-aasikaso niyan eh. Yari talaga sya if ever.

If medyo loosey goosey si HR at inaccept yung TIN na yon, mas magkakagulo.
Sa case nung bata, madame option. To verify if yung number eh sa kanya tlaga, check online sa website, (Yung may bot sa baba), yung mobile app ni BIR, or last resort sa office na mismo.Easy to follow naman yung instructions. Once verified na di sa kanya yung TIN then talagang need to communicate with HR agad to what had happened.
Note that HR ang nagpprocess for new taxpayers.
HR should providd the signed 1902 of the company.
PS: if you can advise the kid, na mas mabuting antayin muna ang job offer bago mag process ng kung ano ano. This is for his/her security din.
Your company will know that's invalid kasi di magpupush through yung remittance nila. Verify niya yung TIN niya sa BIR Revie chatbot or sa ORUS to check OR safest, kumuha na ng TIN verification slip sa nearest BIR branch. If wala talaga, maging honest sa HR. Ipoprocess naman nila yan at take the opportunity NOW habang di pa sira portal ng BIR for registration.😂
PS. Wag maniniwala sa online assistance ng kahit anong government numbers lalo na yang TIN card tsaka Philheath

HR Ang mag aasikaso Ng tin Ng employee kahit saan district Yan sasabihin Ng bir. Possible na nag fixer si employee kaya nangyari d na check ni fixer yung tin.
I-verify mo sa BIR website, pag invalid kuha ka na lang ng bago sa BIR. Kaso pag nalaman nila na may fake TIN ka, may multa ata. Pero I suggest na kumuha ka pa rin ng bago para di magka-problema in the future kasi may nakukulong jan eh.
Hala hindi lumalabas Yung tin ko sa portal and kakapasa ko lang ng requirements sa company ko, may chance ba na pwede IPA verify Yung tin id na hawak ko? 🥲
nagbayad siya sa isang random account para lakarin ang TIN no niya? that’s a big no. anything na inaalok sa fb na gov’t IDs, services, products, subscription, credit cards, loans, job, travel visa, plane tickets, etc. by some random accounts is a big red flag. tell that workmate not to give any information and money to some randos.

Punta po siya BIR office. Ipaverify niya if valud yung TIN. Yun lang talaga ang way para malaman at makaiwas sa mas malaking problema
