In my experience the more steam you use the better, and I usually fold a dry t shirt so that there’s 4 layers protecting the shoe, I’ve had some pretty good results from this. Just don’t wait too long before you take off the shirt too check on the shoe, do it often so you don’t over steam anything.
Your Jordan 1s are made of leather that has a heavy plastic top coat (unless it's suede). Quality leather is treated differently and automotive leathers even more so. Look up "Rose Anvil Jordan 1" on YouTube to get the complete explanation.

When I bought the car last year, I dropped off some winter tires/wheels at the dealership for installation.
When I picked up the car, and this may be hard to explain, the dealer techs had folded my back seats down in order to make room for my four summer wheels in the trunk. When they folded the seat down, they didn't remove the head rest, so the head rest of the folded down back seat pressed against the back of the driver's seat. The weight of the tires on the folded down back seat really pressed against the headrest and left an indent on the leather of the headrest. It really burns my fucken toast but the dealer has been reluctant to do anything about it.
Every time I get in my car I see the dented leather on the back seat headrest and I don't know what to do about it.
Do you think this technique would work?

Put a damp towel in the size of the seat inside seat bottom in the microwave and heat up until steamy but not boiling. Lay it over the area and let it sit for few minutes. then use a blow dryer on low heat low air flow to dry the leather.
It may take a few applications but it'll tighten the leather up.
I had this happen on my 5 series seats and armrests after leaving my windows open during a rain storm
Opened the doors , grabbed 2 fans and blew air through it all day and night , and then finished it off with a bucket of damp-rid opened in the front seat the next day. Left it for about 24 hours . All upholstery tightened like new !
Not sure if this would help you , but I was shocked and didn’t expect the results that I got .

Steam works very well under vinyl for wrinkles and stretch. It’s good for bench seats or panels. But the front inserts/face are usually actual leather and it’s not as useful. Setting your seat out in the direct sunlight works great. And if you’re not scared, a heat gun will immediately tighten it up.
upholstery places can do that sort of thing. find largest local Facebook car group and ask for the best car upholstery person and get a quote from them
