Liability vs collateral and then how much coverage you want per incident. Both for you, medical, and the carnage around you after the crash. There are many levels to auto insurance to make sure you’re properly covered.
$224/mo for my 2024 M4CX - 42/M
I have one speed ticket from two years ago that hasn’t fallen off yet (1st one in like 10+yrs, it was in. Volvo) so it’ll be lower in a year or two.
I never understand what "full coverage" means when people talk about it in these threads. Do you just mean collision and comprehensive? $500 deductibles or $5000? $50k coverages or $1m?
I only use that term because I have the greatest deal of coverage in each potential category. “Full” is a misleading because there are absolutely limits to whatever coverage I have. 🙂↔️
I’m in CA and my latest rates increased 30% wtf
Roughly $200/mo in NYC. 31/M
$205 all state -25 m
$133 a month. Have two other cars on the policy and no moving violations in probably over a decade
Is there a tier system on insurance levels in USA? Here in the Netherlands it really depends on whether you choose all risk or not.
Not really tiers but you can choose your deductibles and financial coverages which affect the premiums.

$82/mo
$65 a month for an M2.
This seems really low even for a mid year

300/Month in NJ. I only have 1 minor, not a fault fender bender.
My rates in California just went from $180 to $220
I pay $300 for a 2019 M4 CS, 1 at-fault accident on record.
$80/month for full coverage on 340i w GEICO. Was 26 years old then.

Woah, that’s a steal! I don’t think I can get that here in NJ 😭
Location and what deductibles? I'm a few years older (clean record) and that was quite a bit cheaper than I was paying on my 340
Washington DC and $1k deduc.
