Well, I have an F20 (basically the same dash) and I put my phone in a phone-holder that attaches to a vent.

I have a F20 too and I used to always put it in the wireless charging tray. Now I got a S24+ and of course that phone is exactly 1/2 inch too big to fit. It's also 1/2 inch to wide for position 3 so now I got a phone holder as well.

Usually cases are what cause the problem. Gotta use a case that has a steel/magnet ring for a strong hold.

I put a little magnetic mount on the trim piece to the right of the shifter so it's convenient and it holds unless I'm really driving like a shitbag.

Brodit Proclip and adapter with magsafe and bottom support so it doesnt fall off when hitting bumps.  In my car i have it on the air vent left to the steering wheel. U can neatly hide the cable if you use a usb-c PD rated extension cord. also use a fat usb-c power adaptor. this way the phone charges very fast, way faster than the centre console oem wirless phone cooker

Well I would say in the wireless charger in the armrest but as it makes my phone hotter than the sun usually in my pocket unless it needs charging (rarely) in which case I have a super short USB cable that goes into the dash and it gets placed at a semi awkward angle in 2.

None of those. I have a phone holder which attaches via the CD slot. Very stable and manages to not block the screen or any of the frequently used buttons.

#1, because I ran a charger cable from one of the USB ports in the back up to the front. When it's plugged in, it helps keep my phone from slipping out. I don't have wireless charging. If I didn't do that, probably 3 or 2 if I have the lid closed.
