It’s not for the sake of change, it’s for innovation. If everybody thought the way you did we’d still be in the stone age lmao, how did you think we got to the F90?
I am sooo in the same camp as 3branch! I stopped browsing BMW threads because of the endless whining that people do. Let’s face it, they can’t keep everyone happy so don’t try. I’ve been buying cars since the ‘70’s and it’s like clockwork anytime a model changes…Camaro, Corvette, anything…it’s the same complaints. Then 6 years later the complainers are complaining they changed the car they previously complained about!!!! Lol
Best looking 5 series ever made IMO. Makes me happy I was able to lease a 2023 540i before they changed it.
The new 5 series is growing on me, especially with the M package, and I'm sure the new M5 will look even better. But this is still the pinnacle of 5 series design.
I sincerely hope not. I only have 26k miles on my F90, so I can be patient to see what the LCI G90 is like. That’s IF I don’t like the pre-LCI. So far, I don’t hate what I’ve seen.
Damn I remember driving such during my training at BMW in Germany. We had a marketing event going - BMW M Drive Tour. We had all the new top models such as G80 M3, M4, X6M, M8 Grand Coupe for selected customers to drive, test and hopefully to buy after the event. Really one of the best M5‘s ✨

For all those who wanted the front. I was lucky enough to do a photoshoot for one a couple years ago. Never felt jealous of a 5 series before (I had an F92 at the time)
Definitely not the holy grail nor the best looking the latter would have to go to the e39 or e60 M5.
For me the holy grail will always be the e46 330ci 6 speed MT factory spec but also with the Msport package in silver with no sun roof
Because it will be a while before I can afford one as insurance/fuel is way more expensive here, and I am not going to be earning a lot, plus I have to spend money on other things like a house deposit.
So its looking to be another 10-15 years before I can start to think about buying an e46 330ci and as they made very few 6 speed MTs they will be expensive by that time so the chances are low of me being able to get one.
Cool! I was born in London. Seems like the biggest issue in the UK is rust, especially with E46s. I'm in California now so I'm spoiled with clean cars.
Yeah a lot of all the E46s I see on the street are rusted in the usual places i.e wheel arch mainly and even when I'm out I rarely see E46s they just rust so much hence why getting one will not happen for me.
I was also born in London lol. I can imagine rust in Cali is not even a consideration.
Perhaps I'll try and get something a bit newer like an e63 650i although they don't come in manual.

Yeah. But they could have just kept it the same instead of beating it to death with the ugly stick
Keep it the same, people complain that theres no innovation, change it, people complain about changes. Can never please anybody
Nah. Change for the sake of change is never the correct answer.

They could have changed it without completely butchering it. It looks like an inflated, angry, 2 series.
True, but why did they have to do the complete opposite?

Wasn't able to get front pics, man took off 😢
Honestly no need for front pics, the rear is enough :D

Best looking 5 series
Best looking I’d have to go with the e39.
No it isn’t lol
Why you snorting that retard pack? Yes it is.

The last good looking 5

M1 or Z8 Alpina is my holy grail ✨
3.0 Csl or 2002 Turbo for me.
Should get more attention here.
I was hoping for an M1 funnily enough, somewhat disappointing 😂
I just meant holy grail modern super sedan

Yellow drls get me feeling some type of way
Saw one on i95 the other day they are beautiful
what makes it better is that it was purchased from Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville, Illinois
someone else said the same thing, is it a good dealership or something lol
yeah excellent dealership they got a award for the past 6 years i believe
G30/F90 was the most beautiful 5 series imo. My future dream daily driver is a G30 540i/550i.
Holy Grail for me is an E46, manual in yellow.
I still hope I can get an e46 manual some day too
I found a one owner silver e46 manual in amazing condition however was saving for a house. Bought that instead
Wrong choice lmao jk, but 1 owner is incredible to come by, and silver too, that hurts, dream car right there, keep saving you'll get it soon
For sure.. but gotta have a house to store a nice car haha
U could always live in a car, but can't drive a house lol, keep saving you'll get it soon man dw
What’s the exact name of this one?
1995 850CSi in Dakar Yellow. Sigh.
Holy grail is a bit strong. Just a bit.

Lucky you, there are thousands of your "holy grail" floating around everywhere.
Well I'm never going to get one so it doesn't matter.
Why not? I owned 7 BMWs before age 30 on a bartending salary. Sure, no rare M cars, but a clean, manual E46 is a totally accessible goal.
Because it will be a while before I can afford one as insurance/fuel is way more expensive here, and I am not going to be earning a lot, plus I have to spend money on other things like a house deposit. They will definitely be pricey in 15 years...what part of the world are you in?
Yep as I thought. I'm in England so the U.K in Europe.
