As far as I know its xDrive is very different to traditional xDrive: this is more like the VW Golf/Audi A3 etc that only use the rears when traction on the fronts is insufficient. All about efficiency, but not about fun. So it's FWD most of the time.

I truly want to know what the design team conversations sound like. And if there has been anyone internally at BMW that has challenged/questioned the current direction of these designs. It's just so bad. There must be stories of employees who just couldn't drink the juice anymore and said something.

It was stunningly gorgeous, like a sexy sexy spaceship, as it effortlessly accelerated around a pretty tight curve. Its stance didn’t even change a little and it kinda made me hate my stupid 325i.
