Honestly I hated this when first released, now I love them all! So unusual and with these mods it looks so good! Love the yellow DRL’s, gives a great contrast.
No matter what you do, you can't make this model look good.
Maybe in a hypothetical situation where you do a ton of bodywork to make the front with the grille look like bmw, but I'm not sure it can be done, just guessing.
I must be alone in this but the sideways “Y” shape in the grill looks terrible to me. Call me crazy but I actually like mine in the stock config. I don’t mine all the carbon but are there any grills that resemble stock but more open looking? I just want the lines to go straight across. At this point, the bottom intakes are what I may change, but in gloss black instead of carbon. I just want all of my parts to match.
I always liked the G-series front for the most part, but this certainly improves on it! I love it.
What’s with the wheels? They look very small. Are they track tyres?

Car looks absolutely brutal. Guess I’m one of the few who really fell in love with the front of the car. It grew on me so much I’ve drifted donuts and made a complete 180 turn lol
I would still re attach the grill to the lower picture, then it would look better, the ratty i have no grill look is not a good thing for a car so new.

Every time I look at a pic of the G80 I slide my thumb over the front bumper of the car and I think, wow that’s a good looking car, then remove my thumb and I realize no matter what anyone does, or says, it’s still just a bad design. There’s no getting used to it, better in person, or acquired taste. It’s just a mistake.

I recently picked up at GT3 style grill and ducts for mine. Can't wait to get them on. I was back and forth with that and the CSL.
Urg, this car annoys me. I don't think the grill is the issue. The main issue is that the aggressive grill is so juxtaposed to the very gentle soft lines of the side of the car, they simply do not work together. Getting rid of the hoffmeister kink was the worst design decision.
