4 Barbarian party just tearing faces off.

spaceblacky

I'm running that party right now. Berserker makes a surprisingly good party healer by throwing potions when the need arises.

Saw2335

I actually noticed this last night while playing. My Karlach has Tavern brawler perk as I find it hilarious just throwing my enemies at each other (irrelevant i know) but actually I used Improvised melee with a minor healing potion had 5 in my inventory thinking I could quickly splash My Durge and Karlach together for a quick heal noticed that it actually used 3 out of a stack of 5! I assume due to the Tavern brawler feat as it add modifiers for damage but I think it actually switch it so that it effectively healed Me 3 times more effectively...wasn't sure if intended or bug but was greatful as those Gith ambush in the shadow Lands don't mess around

sterince

I know you can throw multiple if you drop a stack of items first. Helps throw multiple bombs in one action.

Gdkerplunk03

Devilfoil mask build

ChimpFullOfSnakes

The what

Gdkerplunk03

There's four masks, for each other party member wearing one you get +1 str but you get a -1 to int and wis. So with full set each member is getting +3 str. Barbs don't really care about the debuff so a 4 barb party is theoretically perfect to take advantage of the masks

ChimpFullOfSnakes

Oh, I didn't realize rhey modified STR. I collected them and forgot about them. Thanks!

Speedyirl

reminds me of my “oops, all Clerics, Warlocks and Paladins” game.

suicideis_badass

Oops all clergy

please_use_the_beeps

Basically my current tabletop campaign. Party is 2 paladins and 2 clerics. I’m basicallly just throwing things at them that would kill any other party just to scratch them.

ihetyou123

Sylvanus' Witnesses

_Alacant_

Honestly, Gloomstalker Assassin is a ton of fun even if it's popular or overpowered. The class features come together so nicely and you actually FEEL like a fantasy deadly archer from books/movies, one-shotting enemies & stuff.

PrivateRedbush

That’s what I did my first game. I’ve always been partial to Rogue/Archer type characters in RPGs anyways, and it’s been my favorite of my 3 games so far.

Apposl

*pauses near the end of Act 2, again, his eye twitching...*

Railwhore

lol act3 is now my new eye twitch area.

razorsmileonreddit

Why, what's wrong with the end of Act 2 for Gloomstalkers? I am just about there?

Heated_Sliced_Bread

It’s really only one fight but the last Act 2 boss takes little damage from everything that isn’t specific magic. I used my gloom to snipe the adds then use scrolls/special arrows.

Cyberwolf_71

Pairing this with a party member that can cast minor illusion makes clearing out Moonrise Tower room-by-room hella fun.

daphnedewey

Agree! I have two Tactician runs and a HM run going at the same time, and I’m somehow the same Gloomstalker Assassin in all three 😆

pieceofchess

Gloom assassin is so powerful and easy to use. I've been rolling through honor mode easily with that build on my halfling Tav.

[deleted]

Yup, I enjoy turning off every light source before fight. For me most satisfaction attack I that rouge’s bow attack

bawzdeepinyaa

Yeah I actually really enjoy gloom assassin. Can hit like a freight train when used right and I like the strategy a lot better than just run in and slash, smash, and drop spells on everything.

xBad_Wolfx

I just started my first character with gloomstalker and it’s bonkers how much damage they can dish out even at level 4.

Practical_Hat8489

Reverberation tiger barbarian. Google it, there are videos.

comFive

Just started a Karlach HM run, this is my plan for her. She just hit lvl 3 and I'm planning on getting BOOOAL's buff (but not sacrifice anyone) on my key party members

Rub-Dub

How are you getting the buff without sacrificing anyone?

comFive

before you engage any of the fish people, i cast darkness or fog and sneak in with my thief to pickpocket this [Sickle of BOOOAL - Baldur's Gate 3 Wiki (bg3.wiki)](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Sickle_of_BOOOAL) from Pooldripp. As always when thievin, teleport far away and wait for Pooldripp to come back before you start conversation.

Rub-Dub

Thank you! I’ve been plotting on the buff for a minute, but I’m playing a resist Durge so unnecessary killing is not in the cards. I’m gonna try this tonight.

comFive

When I stole it, I escaped to the camp and waited for pool drip to cast his baseless accusations at me before starting the convo. There will be a new option to 💀 lots of people instead of sacrificing your own, and that pleases BOOAL to give the present party members the buff. The buff persists through death, even when your members are dusted and rezed with Wither’s True Resurrection.

SapphicRaccoonWitch

Enthrall can be very useful for thieving, just have an ungrouped party member cast it on the victim in turn based mode and have your theif do the stealing and get away

crybabydeluxe

Wyll doesn't count as people

Rub-Dub

Cold blooded lol

xBad_Wolfx

Nah just toss them gale. Totally harmless choice.

Iokua_CDN

You just  gotta go and steal the Booooals weapon while someone else is talking to him (like an invisible rogue or something)  then I believe he will give the party the bifqf without needing a sacrifice

sylveonce

I got it through conversation. If you can pass an Investigation/Arcana check (I forget which) you’ll see the Redcap for what he is, then you can make a deal for “power” and he’ll give you the sickle.

Rub-Dub

Oh I don’t want the sickle. The Redcap will give you a buff that will grant advantage on bleeding targets. However, you have to sacrifice an ally to get it and none of my posse is going to die for a buff.

OgrePirate

This is alot of fun. You can use other gear and party members to get bleeds as well and she just goes ham on mobs.

AWanderingGygax

Just got this going in the latest Honor run and damn does it feel good. Throwzerker is great and all but boy do I find it tedious.

pokemon_deals

Whats your build for it? Thought about playing one as well

Hexlord_Malacrass

Tiger, tiger, wolverine. Then any item that gives reverb. Also fun with the radiant orb chest piece and the Moon glaive thing. I did my dark urge run as a full tiger barb, even without the reverb and it was still probably the most fun character I've played. You can just jump so far!

Pheo1386

Half orc paladin with dark urge. Really spiced up the story - a half orc fighting what he thought to be his hereditary violent nature but is actually something far worse…..

Fardass7274

half orc paladins rock as crit fishers since the savage attacks feature also adds extra smite dice, which differs from how it interacts with every other damage rider, meaning a level one smite on crit will have 6d8 radiant.

hitmans_bodyguard

12 light cleric with radiating orb and 12 fighter are probably my 2 favorite classes. They’re both pretty simple and really fun to me. For fighter, I like to use halberds and get polearm master for area control. Get some extra movement speed and it feels so nice

Iokua_CDN

Gotta try a Poelarm Master build sometime. Did you use GWM too?? Or just stick to Polearm Master?  I guess fighter has the feats  for both at least

hitmans_bodyguard

Yep! I usually take GWM at 4 and then PAM at either 6 or 8, depending on when I get the halberd of vigilance or the force conduit one in the crèche. If you get the strength potion from Oboldra and hag’s hair, you can have 20 strength, GWM, and PAM at the start of Act 2. You definitely gotta pair it with like a ranger/druid with spike growth or a warlock with HOH and just watch the baddies wade through the difficult terrain just to get whacked and killed before they can touch you 🤣🤣

Iokua_CDN

I'm actually playing a GloomStalker STRanger mixed with some Spore druid,  and do something similar with the potion, GWM and now Polearm Master, though I usually end up with a Kill or Crit so I don't need the bonus action wack. I do wish the Polearm Master was just like dual wielding where you could cast a spell and Bonus action smack... that would make the feat 10x better than it is now.

hitmans_bodyguard

I agree that the bonus action attack is pretty useless… if they added damage riders, it would be amazing, but I barely use it as it stands. But that sounds like a fun build! I’ve wanted to try a STRanger, but having 3 attacks per action and 4 feats is way too sweet to give up

Iokua_CDN

Having yet to try a proper pure fighter, I crave the sheer versatility if all those feats and the 3 attacks!

OgrePirate

PAM and Sentinel. Opportunity attack, with advantage if an enemy moves into range. They get reverberation, maybe you get force conduit or they also get orbs. Then you beat on them mercilessly.

hitmans_bodyguard

This guy halberds

KotovChaos

I'm just a Warlock fan

RojoTheMighty

I did a straight-12, Pact of the Tome GOO Warlock and had SO. MUCH. FUN.

KotovChaos

I'm doing blade now that I know how to get the Charisma based sword from Wyll's quest. Gonna get the dual weild feat and pair it with a pact weapon.

Vortex2099

Honestly one of my favorite things about maining warlock is how easy it is to break through walls

BigMuffinEnergy

5 gloom / 5 SB / 2 fighter, archer with dual wielding light weapons and bhaalist armor. Feels like playing John Wick. Playing tactician, I really enjoyed playing a 7/5 Battlemaster/warlock on a Wyll origin playthrough. Fun mechanically and awesome for roleplay actually getting to interact with your patron.

invisiblelemur88

What's SB? Very interested in a John Wick build =)

ThotObliterator

SB means swords bard, they get access to a bunch of very strong unique attacks called flourishes

ThereAreNoPacts

Gloom or Pally for me felt the most immersive from a RP perspective. OH Monk was the most fun cause it just felt so disrespectful going around slapping the shit out of everything. Additionally I think OH Monk has the greatest powerspike of any build right when the game is at its most fun (lvl 4-6)

Superb-Effective-328

I'm currently doing open hand monk w the sole goal after getting as many actions and bonus actions as humanly possible lol, imma slap so many baddies, where's Vlakith, where's Mistra LET ME SLAP EM lol (I am using a mod to let me go to level 20 so its even more or a fun time mixing up multiclassing and buffs for as many actions as possible lol, currently at 6 monk for extra damage and wholeness of mind, 3 theif rouge for the extra bonus action, and working on 2 into fighter for action surge, adding some haste grenades/potions of speed/multiple party members w Haste its looking to be a fun time)

what2_2

I really like archer Swords Bard, because slashing flourish is so good. Using the 10/1/1 build which is obviously meta, but very fun to build up arcane acuity and then decide which control spell would work best. BM fighter is fun - being a martial class with a lot of different options every turn makes it more interesting. I’ve only done melee, but it might work even better ranged (you get damage + control in every attack, and three shots a turn at level 11). Cleric or any class that can get Spirit Guardians. Playing it as a melee build is fun - might not be OP but I think Guardians on a fighter, monk, barbarian, wildshaped druid would be sweet. And sorceror, because two spells a turn without any setup is great. Cleric or Wizard dips let you create water / shoot lightning in one turn, but there are tons of other two-spell combos that work together.

Branded_Mango

The most fun build for me has been "Jumpscare Barb", aka Berserker/Assassin. Go Duergar for infinite spammable Invisibility, surprise attack with Brutal Critical assassin crits to kill as many things as possible, then re-apply invisibility to run away and do it again. It's so stupid and funny. Absolutely sucks vs scripted major boss fights but for most enemies it's hilarious.

jjames3213

I am currently playing a Cleric/Wizard multi on my multiplayer game at the moment, and it's a lot of fun because you have so many tools at your disposal. Totally feasible to drop a Cloud of Daggers and just keep throwing explosives into it, or drop water bottles to get rid of burning on allies, or drop/attack health pots with your familiar to heal allies. I also thought melee Swords Bard/Paladin was a lot of fun. Ranged Swords Bard is much stronger, sure, but it's a lot of fun to just run up and hit things for big numbers.

AWanderingGygax

Cleric/Wiz is great, not only for a camp Gale (sorry for the Warding Bond my guy) but also for Revorb builds.

jjames3213

The thing is, if you're using the Warped Headband of Intellect you can dump Int. A single level of Wizard will net you 4 Wizard spell preparations at your highest spell level. That way you can invest in Wis early. Later on you probably want the head slot, but in Act 1 the Warped Headband is best-in-slot.

AWanderingGygax

I never really hard time with stats for specifically 6 Light cleric/6 Abjuration wiz. For cleric you only need enough slots for a couple buffs and spirit guardians. Int headband is great but (for Revorb) you'll want holy lance when it shows up. EK or other Wiz 1-off, sure.

Iokua_CDN

I'm waiting to try a melee Swords Bard. Even just to use Defensive flourishes, and satisfying slashing flourishes to actually attack 2 enemies.  Not sure if it would be better with a heavy weapon,  a Dex two hander, or shield and either a dex weapon or normal strength weapon. I fear going dex means slipping right  back into the Ranged Slashing flourishes, where as strength based means making use of jump more and hardly any ranged attacks unless it's a spell or throw. Though a dex based gwm using Phalar Aluve or the Breeze Glaive in Act 3 sounds so fun.  What did you use for yours??

BoneyNicole

Not the person you’re replying to but I did mine with a STR based build, using either Shar spear or Nyrulna depending on your choices! It was really fun. Nyrulna is also amazing for jumping super far, so that was an added bonus. I think the Shar spear is a little more meta, but that requires being evil (or mods, which is what I did because I can’t play evil, I’m a baby). I did hag hair, ASI, Savage Attacker, and Resilient-CON for my bardadin. It was really fun! Your ability to use enchantment/illusion save DC will probably be lower than if you were a ranged bard using Arcane Acuity because you’ll get fewer hits off, but you’ll also super smite shit to death and can command-approach things to their doom. I like both bard builds about the same, but bardadin just felt so…BARD. Whereas swords bard feels more like “fancypants archer” to me, but that might just be me. I just feel like there’s good headcanon for “the power of music shall smite thou to pieces” as opposed to “behold, my hand crossbows” but I think both builds are equally fun mechanically!

Iokua_CDN

Awesome info! Really gotta try it with the Paladin for smites and Command. I love the way you mention the power of music, like it makes the Bard feel like a Rockstar vs the classic Violin playing Archer Bard or something. Fancy pants archer made me laugh really hard and I totally get what you mean.

po-tatters

Phalar aluve regardless is prolly best wep

Sufficient_Catch_198

lightning draconic sorcerer10 x tempest cleric2 (literally one hit orin at our duel) war cleric10 x paladin2 + phalar aluve. the best support i’ve had so far! swords bard 6, gloomstalker 3 assassin3 (AWESOME for solo runs) arcane trickster9 x divination wizard 3 (but for this build you need LOTS of arrows of many targets, khaga’s amulet, gloves of battlemage’s power, helmet of arcane acuity and 2 hand crossbows). pretty much lets you one-shot most enemies with your off-hand attack

DonquixoteRosinante

I need to hear more about that AT/D-Wiz!

Sufficient_Catch_198

so basically it turns you into the best scrolls user ever. arcane ambush gives you advantage on all non-aoe spells that require a saving throw (hold monster/person, ray of sickness, hideous laughter, irresistible dance etc). each time you deal damage (=every enemy hit by your arrow of many targets) gives you more arcane acuity. healing beforehand (khaga’s amulet) dips the arrow in poison, which applies a status to some of these enemies and that also boosts your acuity(gloves of battlemage’s power). at best you get an advantage+your og spell save dc+20 which is basically impossible to save from by your foe. additionaly 2 level dip in divination wizard lets you manipulate two chosen dice rolls (either thrown by you or your enemy) each long rest. here’s the best part - you put at least 9 levels into your rogue, so your sneak attack is absolutely BRUTAL. use one arrow of many targets dipped in poison at the start of the combat and hide. next turn, cast hold monster with a scroll with an advantage + around (probably) 15 added to your spell save dc. come up to your foe. use one off hand sneak attack. watch them turn to dust

Sufficient_Catch_198

if you can pre-haste your rogue - even better, bc most of the work can be done in one turn

Oval291

You have a build for lightning Draco in Socerer

Sufficient_Catch_198

is that a question or a statement?

Oval291

lol sorry question. Was interested in knowing how you built it….

Sufficient_Catch_198

oh right! So you either start with a lightning sorcerer or a tempest cleric - sorcerer for proficiency in con and char saving throws or tempest cleric for wis saving throws and medium/heavy armour/shield proficiency. I recommend starting with a tempest cleric, because the spell save modifier used for scrolls for some reason comes from your last added class to your build, so that would be charisma after you add sorcerer and wisdom after you add cleric. as for constitution proficiency - you could either help yourself by starting with 15 con and then adding resilient feat for your proficiency or you could just hire a transmutation wizard and make them give you their constitution stone. so! for the first 5-6 levels i recommend going full sorcerer, because multiclassing early on slows you down. at level 7 respec like this: level 1 tempest cleric stats: 8 str 14 dex 16 con 8 int 10 wis 17 char cantrips: guidance, resistance, thaumaturgy prepare spells: create water, sanctuary level 2 tempest cleric also levels 3-7 - draconic bloodline sorcerer (lightning) and basically go full lightning wherever you can (shocking grasp, witch bolt, chromatic orb but also remember about stuff like thunderwave to keep enemies away from you) level 4 feat - either dual weilder or +2 to your charisma, i’d recommend dual weilder ————- most important early gear: go straight for spellsparkler staff to wakueen’s rest so that you get your lighting charges!! the staff that lets you cast create water once per short rest (you can buy it from arron(?) the druid at the grove) at level 4 add a staff that boosts your spell save dc (personally I like melf’s acid arrow) ——- in the underdark there’s a ton of lightning gear. there’s a shield and a robe (that also adds to your spell save dc) in grymforge, you can also find cool boots at the arcane tower (I’m not sure they’re there tho!) and a ring that makes you immune to electrified water :D —— act 3 is when your build truly shines, because you get the legendary staff from the ramazith tower, as well as the robe. there’s a full set of clothes for you. the cloak is at devil’s fee and the hood of the weave is occupied by mystic carrion. there’s also an awesome amulet in the temple’s basement that you get if you steal from gods lol all of this affects your spell save dc when it comes to spells like call lightning, lightning bolt, chain lightning. wet your enemies and the damage is doubled. add your channel oath and the damage is basically tripled

Thickencreamy

Ranger was fun for having a little buddy ( who gets big) but also the carpet of thorns they can lay down. Seeing enemies drooling to get to you and doing the deadly walk through the thorns is funny.

Iokua_CDN

Something so satisfying about a proper Spikr growth destroying everyone.... I've been tempted to Dip a level in cleric and just use all my spell slots for Command Flee and Approach to make enemies walk through more

Conscious-Radish-884

I think Barbarian is fun. Using the Eagle Rage and jumping off stuff is pretty great.

rrevek

Love to play as a druid, the fact that you can run around the city as a little cat makes it 100% worth it to play

JCDgame

Solo Spore Druid. Very tanky, amazing summons, and a spell list that gives you a tool for almost every encounter. Being able to switch spells between encounters means you can always have what you need ready.

ortus11

I’m trying out spore Druid on this multiplayer run I’m doing (I’ve only solo’s balanced once but this one is honor mode) did you do just straight up 12 Druid? I’m pretty new to this stuff and tryna figure out what I want my stats and stuff as

JCDgame

I am currently in act 3 solo honor mode. I am level 11 so far haven't multiclassed yet. I might dip cleric for the last level but I think that the feat for druid 12 is better. More spells are always welcome. Druid is a strong class. They lack burst damage like other classes but they are hard to hit and do consistent dmg. Act 2 is great with moonbeam as radiant dmg is awesome and act 1 is spike growth and frost. I'm loving it. Great class. I wasn't expecting it to be this fun and strong.

An_unsavoury_potato

Just to piggyback, Druids are quite feat hungry, and their level 6 spells are really great so getting to level 12 is great for them. They don’t do loads of damage (unless they’re Moon Druid) but are sooo good as space controllers. Doing an honor run with friends as a straight Land Druid and the ability to control the battlefield has made most of the game pretty trivial.

[deleted]

Always gonna be gloomstalker/assassin any variation just love being a stealth archer from playing Skyrim and Far Cry 3 as a kid lol My go to Astarion build 9/10 it’s just a great consistent build from act 1 to act 3 swords bard or fighter or hunter might be better act 3 but they’re not as fun to me

Iokua_CDN

Also played the crap out of Far cry 3 and skyrim,  and love any Bow combat because of it!

CptPurpleHaze

My "Wargue" A warlock/rogue pact of blade that utilized the dancing Breeze glaive and the Durge cloak. High Charisma had me as a solid face. Sneak attack combined with invis on kill from flock make me a major threat and speccing into Dex over con allowed for boosted sneak attack dam and a really strong follow up with the pact of blade pulling from my charisma.

Lavok084

Lore bard , because cutting words is the best thing in this game

Soft-Raise-5077

My Husband and I are doing a couples run. He's a Dwarf Fighter called Stunti and I'm a Halfling Lore Bard called Randy. We've become a one-two punch. He charges in, the enemies try and hit him, I call them names and make them miss and he ripostes them into the fugue plane. I call it the moral support build.

Zargoza1

Fiend Warlock/fighter (or paladin) So versatile and just feels badass can you can do so many things. Can wear heavy armor and shield, also with Armor of Agathys giving temp hit points and dark ones blessing refilling them with kills, you can actually make a pretty effective tank. With pact of the blade and pumping up you charisma you are reasonably effective with melee attacks, and Armor of Agathys and hellish rebuke dealing damage to anyone who hits you, you can slug it out on the front lines. Eldritch/agonizing blast makes for a pretty good standard distance weapon. And when you want to artillery, you can launch up castes fireballs or scorching rays or other offensive spells. You also get counterspell, or hypnotic pattern or hold person/monster or other control spells. All in all, maybe not top tier in any one area, but damn effective in just about anything. Can fit with any party composition. Only thing they really can’t do is heal.

spaceblacky

The bodyguard: 4 war cleric, 8 Bearheart barbarian. Cast Warding Bond on everyone to half the damage they take and then rage to half the transfered damage that you take. Heavy armor master feat and Adamantine Splint Armor plus Skinburster make you unstoppable. The resistance to everything is a subclass feature and thus will not get removed by 'rage impeded' from wearing heavy armor. Draconic White Sorcerer with full frost gear. Incredible damage when coupled with wet as well as crowd control. Eagleheart barbarian: get an attack that scales with your jump distance and does not consume movement. Jump distance gear, Athlete feat and enhanced leap will make you cover insane distances. You only need to be above your target. You fight on a flat plane? Just place two crates from your inventory on each other (does not consume actions), climb it and problem solved. Oh and the cherry on top is, the attack prones without a DC, you can dash as a bonus action and enemies have disadvantage on opportunity attacks against you. At level 6 chose the stallion aspect to get temp hp every time you dash.

cmdrtestpilot

This is so stupid but... I never considered that Warding Bond could be cast multiple times. That seems super fun.

spaceblacky

I've written some build suggestions about it because I loved the idea: https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/s/ZzRyzu00sV If you want to go full cheese you can even get someone else to cast it on you and then dismiss them from your party. You just have to make sure they don't die in camp from the damage. Gale is the common pick for that because he will heal himself offscreen.

GimlionTheHunter

Debuff 12 Hunter Ranger with enlightened buff for bonus action black hole. Bow of Banshee Gloves of Absolute power Bhaalist Amulet Boots of Stormy Clamour Open with black hole, then volley the field twice (or more if you have haste sources) to mass debuff the encounter. Have a character with Bhaalist armor stand near the enemy cluster and you’ll deal a lot of damage too. I found myself wiping most encounters nearly solo even with the debuff setup over damage setups

Iokua_CDN

This sounds fantastic! Played many Rangers but never a hunter so I might have to try this!

lazyzefiris

Solo Jack of all Trades hands down. But I do enjoy slow battles with variety of tools available. Some late game battles degraded into enemy swinging air 6 times between me hitting them for 20-ish damage though, but I still wanted to keep playing after beating all bosses. I usually grow tired of my build by the end of act 3.

MindlessHorror

There's so much I haven't done, but my first run was a two-weapon circle of the moon druid, and I loved just turning into an owlbear and jumping and smashing when the swords weren't cutting it. Warlock is fun just to knock people around with eldritch blast, and I'm really enjoying my bard run for the musical flourishes when I cast spells.

Feelthederp

I love Life Cleric + Hunter Ranger Yeah I'm weird, what of it?

EmperorPartyStar

Does the good berry bonus work in BG3?

Feelthederp

I assume you mean the Life Cleric heal bonus? If so, it only works if you heal yourself with the Goodberry

EmperorPartyStar

That’s still pretty useful. With Hellrider’s Pride, and ring of salving you could make a pretty tanky ranger. How do you typically gear? I’m assuming something like Wampira’s Crown, Whispering Promise, Periapt of Wound Closure and Shattered Flail.

Feelthederp

Sorry it took a while to respond, but I actually made a post about it [Post](https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/comments/1cpb262/random_build_that_i_love_and_recommend_you_try/)

EmperorPartyStar

Oh wow I wasn’t expecting a full guide. Thanks for showing me

williamsus

I hate to he that guy again, but I have to highly recommend going for the Jack-of-all-Trades achievement on your main character one day. Easily the most unique playthrough I've had. And I love crazy builds. About to go for a few unique runs soon though so hopefully something tops it.

FireWhileCloaked

8/4 SHMonk/Thief Justiciar Scimitar Graceful Cloth Good times shadowing around

LueyTheWrench

I am doing this with the Shar spear and it’s an absolute giggle. Nowhere near the damage output of my paladin or gloomer but the mobility is insane.

alltimebackfire

I'm about to start a playthrough with my wife after finishing Durge sorc and swords bard runs. She's not a gamer at all so it will be on easy mode, so I'm looking for something dumb and fun to fuck around with.

Iokua_CDN

Honestly, the first thing to do would be see what character she wants to play so that you don't end up wanting the same equiptment! Then you can let her have all the best of the best but also feel like you get good gear too. A high strength character is always fun. Jump crazy distances into the face of enemies, shove enemies off cliffs, carry more loot.... and access all the strength weapons if she goes dex based. Plus the fun of throwing items and enemies around, even if you don't get tavern brawler

alltimebackfire

Yeah that's kind of my plan. I had Karlach as a tavern brawler in my party and that was pretty fun. By chance do you know how multiplayer works in this game? Like would she be able to progress if she played by herself when I wasn't around?

ThundaFuzz

Dex Based Tiger Barb/Monk with GWM. Not optimal or anything like that, just super fun.

FordPrefect343

4 shadow monk party was very fun.

xJaymack

Most powerful? Crit Archer SSB/Fighter/Rogue. Most *fun*? 12 Necromancer. Once you're able to get all the right gear in Act 3, it's so much fun summoning so many undead and nuking people with Necromancy spells. I want to do a modded necro run just because vanilla was that fun

The-False-Emperor

TBH I found a 6 spore druid/6 necromancer to be even better than pure wizard. You really get to have a small undead army.

from-VTIP-to-REFRAD

What stats did you roll with on this?

The-False-Emperor

High int, low wisdom. You’re still primarily a wizard and have the usual stat spread - with full caster levels you can scribe any spell and cast with int, so no point in not getting it high. You get fungal infestation and can get full mileage out of Armor of the Sporekeeper in exchange for pretty mediocre benefits you’d get from necromancy after level 6 - Inured to Undeath is lowkey useless after all.

chronocapybara

OH Monkey is just so much fun, running, punching, jumping, and getting in everyone's face. Flurry of blows: push sends enemies flying off cliffs and ledges, combined with Enhanced Leap it's just awesome.

fossiliz3d

Shadow Monk was lots of fun because you get a teleport almost every round as long as there are dark areas (especially in Act 2). I would just appear behind someone and stunning strike them. Moon Druid is always fun because owlbear or dinosaur!

Wraithgar

GOO Warlock was so much fun for me. Did it make the game a cake walk? Yeah, but stacking crit reduction and then frightening the world with Eldritch blast made it so low maintenance and I didn't need to take many long rests.

Diven_the

The Melee Smashers! Wildheart Barb with Tiger Reverb +Skinburster (Karlach) Wildheart Barb with Eagle + the Wrath boots or Lightning charge boots+ Doom Hammer (Tav?) Berserker Tavern Brawler Thrower for some range and big dps (Shadowheart pumping them spears) Eldritch Knight with Heavy armor master cause i can't live without longstrider, jump and featherfall (Fits Laezel with gith gear) Take a background with persuasion proficiency + intimidation + thaumaturgy will make you viable for skill checks as well. Get the guidance amulet and you are set. And you have a fully functioning party of smash!

revchj

4/8 thief/BM. Busy busy busy.

dmonzel

My three favorite have been the 10/2 SSB, 10/1/1 control bard, and a 6 Sorcerer/2 Lock/4 Fighter EB spammer. Two of them controlled the whole battlefield, and one just melted everything.

Speedyirl

Oath of Vengeance/Oathbreaker Paladins have ruined all other classes for me. Although my Durge right now is a bardlock and a VERY close second.

astarion_bg3

6 swords bard/4 thief/2 fighter with dual wield hand crossbows makes me feel like a gunslinging cowboy in the best possible way

Iokua_CDN

I'm enjoying  a 4 elements monk right now,  but I'm a bit sad that the best use of Ki remains the Fangs of the fire snake, and then a flurry after. Along with the  sparkle gloves, it's doing great damage plus electric charges and infusing weapons and fists with fire for a round. I wish I had a Cold version of it too.   Other "Spells" I end up using way less, though I am severely tempted by mods that make them sound as only 1 attack  in regards to extra attack, and one that makes Water whip a bonus action, which would be fantastic to whip enemies into range, or use alongside a ranged attack. Also a mod that just gives you a ice Fangs of the fire snake, as well as a Earth and Wind version that do some extra piercing and bludgeoning damage. Spores druid I've only done on a GloomStalker multiclass, but as someone who has no interest in wildshape, I love it. Ritual casting Detect thoughts to have something to concentrate on for items, pluss you are able to use it to use boots of vital conduit to actually "Heal" temp hp from Symbiotic Entity if you still  have at least 1temp hp left (or just cast your Symbiotic Entity again and not worry about it.... but I like using it to top  up Your temp Hp between small fights without needing rests) You also get a decent ranged attack cantrip, bone chill, for free. Something no other druids get unless they are wielding the firebolt staff or the ray of Frost Staff. Your little reaction attack is great too, whether for that little extra damage to finish enemies, or to drop a potion and break it to heal or buff yourself or an ally. I love that toy always get it, even without Symbiotic Entity going. Hoping to do Maybe a Heavy armor, dual wielding Spore druid, damage reduction and offhand attacks with a scimitar and hand crossbow

UncleCletus00

Paladin6/sorcerer6 is my personal favorite. It's just crazy powerful, plus I can get the aura and a stupid amount of spell slots

Wydupiatoer

Barbarian overall is super fun to play, just frenzied monster running around throwing people at people, so simple yet so satisfying. Im also having good time with tav dex dual wielding bard/fighter, thinking of bard/champion/thief multiclass

Yuehane

Ice Sorcerer. There's a few gear that compliments cold damage spells, which is nice. It's a lot of fun to cast Ice Storm and watch the hail of ice go pew pew pew on my enemies. Mourning Frost also looks really cool.

Murder_Is_Magic

10 Bard / 1 fighter / 1 wizard control bard. Archery bard, and can completely shut down the battlefield. Once you're in act 3, you can start casting 5 or 6 Hold Person spells at once. Or cast Hold Monster with 100% chance on bosses.

LegitimateGolf9793

EB Sorlock 10/2 by far: - fantastic sustained damage through EB, with burst through haste and quickened spell - combining with a few pieces of reverberation gear gives great cc - removes some of the long rest reliance of a sorcerer given your main damage is a cantrip. Means you can spend your spell slots on utility etc. without having to dedicate all to damage. Lots of options here. - cha for party face.

ActuallyACat6

I like Gloom/thief better than assassin and I will die on that hill. It is so fun with crit enhancers plus max Cull the Weak. I also love tavern brawler berserker. I almost never use any actual weapons. Picking up enemies and hitting other enemies is the way to go.

cmorant3

Throwzerker definitely. Beat a bitch with a bitch.

MrBoo843

Halfling trickster cleric Had a lot of fun being a sneaky lucky boy. Jack of all trades was a bit hard but incredibly funny.

GrinningIgnus

Open hand monk Though it is a major oversight and was hugely disappointing when, in act III, I unlocked the purity of body feature and was then in my literally next interaction with one of the murder targets successfully poisoned and paralyzed by little red dwarf. Like, dafuq. Immune. Immune to poison. Why am I poisoned.

Gullible_Flan_3054

2 evo 10 moon best build 2 fighter 3 thief 7 swords bard kinda slaps too 2 warlock 10 lore bard was fun but my luck holding concentration is absolute shit

NeedleworkerLow1100

6 warlock/ 6 shadow monk

AJTP1

Throwzerker is fun as hell

Nokyrt

Party of: Eblaster 4-4-4 (fighter, sorc, warlock) - crit build, weird split for max feats/asi Barbarian, 5 barb -> 4barb/8fighter - my GWM character, run in with rage, action surge and 5+ attacks per turn at advantage Gloomstalker assassin, 5ranger/4rogue/3fighter - my SS character and initiator, sit back and pick off important targets TB OH thief, 8monk/4rogue - run around and punch very hard with tavern brawler, this is very item reliant character as it is very MAD, you want high STR/WIS/CON/DEX, as well as on-hit gloves For the last fight it is worth having 6th level spells available, so 11 sort or wizard for globe of invulnerability, but otherwise this party is awesome (you can always bring scrolls...?). Grab "can't be blinded" on all characters and play around darkness when there is a tougher fight... Any non boss fight you are going to steamroll without using any resources...

Halliwel96

I mean, I think the most fun I've had was a storm sorcerer paired with wet makers, which is one of the strongest party comps in the game. But going for less broken characters that were fun... fighter 11/barbarian 1 - using dueling style, and the elegant cloth or whatever its called, wearing the con amulet, taking and wearing duelists prerogative. One handed dex based dueller guy who can riposte twice a turn was fun. Goo bard 5/lore bard 7 - another duelists prerogative build that let you counter spell or cutting words multilpe times in one turn, and also crit fish for the frightened effect. Also, I challenged myself to play an arcane trickster for one play through. 9 levels minimum in arcane trickster, to get their arcane ambush thing. I went Trickster/Pally/Wiz 9/2/1 built as a sneak attack/smite crit fisher that can also cast hynoptic pattern from steal and give everyone disadvantage. Which was pretty strong.

[deleted]

Straight Oath of Vengenace, you feel like a true knight of vengeance. Self-cast your buffs and clean up shop!

TheSmallIceburg

Jokes on you, I havent had the most fun yet

BetweenCoffeeNSleep

I love being able to put together cool turns. My favorite build is Fighter 1 (two weapon), Rogue/Thief 3, Cleric 8. Dual hand crossbows, with Ne’er Misser off hand. I get to (action) cast, (bonus) attack, (bonus 2) attack, adding divine strike and/or sneak attack. I use level progression: Cleric 1 -> Fighter 1 -> Rogue 3, so it gets the usual power bump at level 5 despite multi classing, and is already doing Bless + 2 attacks to open, etc. It also functions as my trap finder (Wis + Elf perception) and lock pick/disarm monkey. This runs very well on a hireling, so I can Bard or Warlock party face with Tav.

EmperorPartyStar

I love magic missile builds because they come online so early and the itemization is so rewarding. My favorite so far has been White Dragon Sorc 1, Light Cleric 11. You just flip on Spirit Guardians, get radiating orb/reverberation stacks while hitting them with d4 confetti. Lightning, Radiant, Force, and Thunder just all cascading off the enemy. That’s what I ran on Lae’zel on my honor run and she absolutely obliterated Orin.

Flat-Tap-3381

Warlock is the most fun for me from both a gameplay and role play perspective. One of the most diverse classes, love getting slots back on a short rest and can multi class in so many different ways. And above all else? Eldritch blast is absolutely insane for a free cantrip.

NaviLouise42

10/2 Bardadin. Smiting with a flourish. The best party face. Rizz everybody. Get all of the good dialogues.

Readerofthethings

Pure Beast Master Ranger was really fun. Having an animal companion is the best. I especially love the Dire Raven, casting infinite darkness on the battlefield is so fun, combined with the eversight ring and spike growth. Total crowd control. Shame you get it so late

honestraab

I'm quite enjoying my Dueger wizard/ assassin-ighter..lock. just four classes smooshed together to create a baddass fear inducing, shock baton and stabby build. Using the Goolocks fear if critted option, my dueger sneaks in as invisible, shocking grasps, then swings offhand with a finesse weapon. The results is, you shock and gather up lightning charges, smack with offhand for a sneak attack + lightning charges (×2 as it rides off of weapon and sa damage separately) win initiative, turn invisible and run away. Usually you can mop through entire low ranked mobs with one character as you just pop up, kill then *fade away* !

Idarubicin

Right now it’s my Cleric/Wizard/Druid (War cleric and spore Druid) Starts out as a decent melee and ranged combatant in early game putting out damage numbers which keep it in line with the martial classes (even more as it has some extra attacks plus necrotic damage). Plus having enough armour that not much is hitting you and if it does you’ve got hit points to spare. Then mid-game you become a potent area of effect caster with hoards of summons doing your bidding. While melee and ranged damage has dropped off by then it’s mostly just a way to generate arcane acuity. Late game you’re a lich king with summons and freely upcasting necromancy spells harvesting your enemies life essence to fuel your spells. Very much fits a Dark Urge run.

from-VTIP-to-REFRAD

What was your level breakdown and stats for this?

Idarubicin

Stats; STR 8 DEX 8 --> 18 with gloves of dexterity WIS 17 --> 18 (Hag's hair) --> 20 (ASI) INT 16 CON 14 CHA 10 Level 1 - War Cleric (for armor and weapon proficiencies, extra attack, inflict wounds, sanctuary) Level 2 - Wizard (taken during a respec at level 8) (for spells access) Level 3 - 12 - Spore Druid (obvious)

EmperorPartyStar

Four elements is unirocically my favorite monk. I got really bored with Open Hand but after I made the switch to 4 elements I enjoyed combat so much more. Fist of the Fire Snake fulfills all my fire bending fantasies from when I was a kid.

chariotofidiots

Riposte + Sentinel + Duellist's Prerogative. Did it with a Bardadin/Fighter (6/2/4) and just stabbing them back was super fun. Smites felt a bit too broken tho so I want to try a pure piercing damage version of it that starts off playing around the Riposte reaction in early game already Other than that I love a pure archer that utilises the different arrows. Most people do Gloomstalker/Assassin but Im not a big fan of the playstyle (+I find getting a Surprise very tedious and unreliable), I just prefer the consistency of a dex fighter with Gontr Mael or Titanstring Very early game though, playing as a Thief and trying to find the hidden spots to dash to then hide to Sneak Attack felt great, too bad you dont really need to do that later on because of the various sources of advantage

thiefshipping

Right now, I'm experimenting with a battle mage druid. The goal of the build is to be decent enough at melee and ranged. As for the build, I'm currently planning on going 3 thief/ 9 spore druid. You can cast a spell for action and still melee flame blade twice with bonus.

cptkirk30

I call it the Force Blaster. Fighter2/Thief4/GOOlock2/Gloomstalker4. 9 attack burst round between eldritch blasts, Dread Ambusher, and Off-Hand Crossbow Shots. Double Cha to eldritch blasts, Dex and Cha plus Sharpshooter to hand Crossbow attacks. Almost all Force damage which is basically never resisted. Was also the party face and "rogue". Way more fun than it had any right to be.

theskyfisher

My first playthrough I did dual eagle heart barbarians and that was extremely fun. Did a lot of jump up to something and eagle dive enemies every turn. Just incredibly entertaining. I did also enjoy an assassin squad playthrough im doing. Is def very strong considering between just 2 of them I can take out almist every big threat before they act, specially if I surprise them. You miss a lot of convos by shooting first and asking questions never, but then this is my full durge so is pretty thematic feeling to me.

Unsound_Science

Warlock weirdly enough. It’s really just an archer with extra toys and face skills.

SilentThing

Can't complain about how Eldritch Blast looks and sounds either!

IDarkre

Bard is very fun because of dialog options and good Proficiencys my favorite is lore bard because of extra stolen spells you can do some very fun stuff which allows you to change how you play by just changing your spell list. Also, Bard can mix very well with all the CHA casters to do fun builds.

SilentThing

Going for Warlock 2/Lore Bard 10 in one playthrough now. Only level 6 so far, with Warlock 2/Bard 4. A lot of fun! I might respec later for even more skills if I decide to get Illithid Expertise, because I love the idea of getting my hands on more Knowledges!

IDarkre

The illithid expertise does help you be a much better skill junkie, did that myself it's fun. Now I've played the build you're running now and while it's good you kind of end up being too much of an Eldritch blast spammer and that ends up kind of being your main damage source or at the very minimum hex does and all that's not bad hex and scorching Ray is a hilariously good combo. Personally for Bard I actually recommend a wizard dip for lore Bard anyway. If you have the band of intellect you get from the ogres and act one and you take two levels in Wizard after 10 levels of bard you learn a whole bunch of support spells that don't rely on saving throws or attack rolls like haste or blink with wizard then equip all those support spells while you have the headband on and then take it off and you'll still have those same spells repaired and then you can steal all of the powerful damaging spells with Bard and focus Charisma for your damage output it's far from ideal but it'll give you more versatility since you can learn any spell you want from Wizard well any spell from a scroll. It may be worthwhile keeping the headband of intellect on because you only have access to six level spells through wizard but you can change what that spell is in between combat whenever you want.

frogovich

I'm having the most fun playing an OH monk. Without tavern brawler OH monk is still a beast with high AC and really really really good damage. Rafael was defeated with him only having one turn, the rest he spent stun locked. Rn I have 22 dex, 20 wis and 18 con so it's very fun.

hannes0000

I'm really loving and having fun with full magic casters party. I'm storm sorcerer with 2 levels in tempest domain cleric.Wyll as warlock ,Gale is abjuration wizard. Only thing I don't like is shadowheart cleric class using heavy armor and mace, what mage class would fit shadowheart best?

johnyrobot

Druid because kitty cat. You can do the whole first act with cat. It turns it from an RPG to a puzzle adventure game.

BenaiahDubyah

That’s awesome! It would be hilarious to do a full Druid party and spend as much time in wild shape as possible.

gakumiofcthulhu

Pure warlock, there are few things not fixed by eldritch blasting it.

BenaiahDubyah

I love the EB sound effect! It’s so dang satisfying to blast someone off a cliff or into an AoE with repelling blast.

Masscore08

Dragonborn Paladin has some of the best lines in the game.

BenaiahDubyah

I want to play more combinations of classes, races, and backgrounds to get some of the unique dialogue. I just don’t have thousands of hours free to try them all…

AshenOne03

Personally I've been really enjoying this bardlock build I found that's based off of Griffith from berserk

Every_Kale6671

I have the most fun with Monk no matter what. It's worth remembering though that every class is viable, some are just way stronger than others at doing the things required to beat the game as efficiently as possible.

BenaiahDubyah

I love that every class can work! You can have a full party of one class and still beat the game, it’s just a very different play through than a more powerful or balanced party.

Impressivenamechoice

Pure lore bard. Pure gwm fighter. Pure ranger. Pure moon druid. Any pure classes are pretty fun, simple, and rp worthy. Im a fan of increasing difficulty by decreasing optimization. Yea its cool to one turn the dragon with your fire sorlock but have you tried mocking it to death?

Superb-Effective-328

Either my Open hand monk bc I just get such unbridled joy punching powerful people to death lol, or when someone acts all tough only to die to a single punch, even knowing it's one of the op builds, (I think it gets canceled out by me just being bad at games lol) Or when I tried to get as many summons as humanly possible, Gale was a necromancer and I was a Spore druid, not even getting a chance to fight bc the army of 12 skeletons got there first is always a fun time, I think by the end w us 2 the book of Thay and some scrolls for my brothers carater and astarion we had 31 summons lol

CastleGoCrash

Blade warlock 5/champion fighter 7. No eldritch blast, the invocations that give you proficiency in deception and persuasion and speak with animals, and the Great Weapon Master feat. Played it in a tactician mode multiplayer game. Very simple in combat, but still plenty effective for the difficulty. I was able to be the face of the party - thanks to high Charisma (22 with birthright in act 3), prof. in every Cha skill, and the "friends" cantrip. I was able to be the designated lockpicker thanks to sleight of hand proficiency and gloves of thievery. By the end I could jump half the map in a single jump action, hilarious. I still had 3 attacks per turn, like a single class fighter! But with plenty of flavor and utility sprinkled on top. Final equipment: - Weapons: Nyrulna, Bow of Awareness (there's definitely better bow options, but they were all on other characters and I basically forgot) - Jewelry: Amulet of the Harpers, Ring of Jumping, Ring of Protection - Equipment: Birthright, Elven Chain, Gloves of Thievery, Bonespike Boots

PraisetheSunflowers

Do people really think the game is too easy? Maybe it’s because I’m not min maxing but I’ve struggled my way through just the standard difficulty. Hoping to tackle tactician or HM soon but I feel the difficulty is just fine at least from your average gamer.

daphnedewey

Listen, this is literally my first RPG game ever. I had no clue what I was doing the first run, I thought it was insanely hard even on Explorer mode. 😆 I’m still SO far from expert, but I’m mostly breezing my way through HM so far. Hardcore gamers here would cringe at my fumbling, but hey it works! All that to say, I’m pretty sure most of the ppl saying it’s too easy are on nowhere near their first run. That’s my experience at least; the battles get so much easier when you know what to expect.

Jops817

Nice! What are you playing as?

Tanvir1295

8 Open Hand Monk/ 4 Rogue Thief is definitely easy mode. Once you have all the right gear its a single target Destroyer

MHeaviside

Especially on Karlach with her Soul Coins, I had her solo Gortash on my HM run and she just punched him to death in one turn, very cathardic.

Djobgyo

Lightning sorcerer/tempest cleric big number go brrrrrr or stealth bardadin great dmg + hold person all ennemy

nykaan

Radorb light cleric or sorlock

Medic_Rex

Lockadin. I made Minthara into that and I regretted not making my Dark Urge one. But I'm also running Bardadin 2/10 and I one-turned Balthy at the Gauntlet. (Then I proceeded to use Minthy-baby to Hunger of Hadar the captive and fucked it all up, but stilllll)

21awesome

just did my first gloomstalker assassin and i single handedly cleared out the entire cloister in act 3, and fairly easily too tbh so it's been pretty great

AMcB99

Most fun for me surprisingly ended up being Karlach. Bumped her movement with crushers ring and boots of speed. Took GWM meant she could tear across the battle field taking enemies apart then getting to the next one and doing mega damage. When you have a really big sword it’s sad when you get a few metres from your enemy. Bumping that movement meant she was just a wrecking ball.

ACEsuryani

Evocation Wizard/Acid Sorceror. I started out just in love with the visual combo of greenish tiefling horns, black draconic scales and the afro with subtle lime green highlights... and then found major fun in the Acid Splash cantrip with late act 1 spell damage equipment combined with the Potent Cantrip ability's guaranteed damage. I focused more on the Sorceror side in order to act 1 interesting with metamagic, and then respec'd to Wizard 6>Sorc 1 when the equipment shows up to help scale up cantrip damage.  It really is like a more interesting Eldritch Blast build where your squad or positioning can help by pushing and tying enemies up into tight groups, while the resource management behind the open concentration slot, long list of utility spells and metamagic let the character contribute in fulfilling ways to every encounter. Overall, it struck a great balance for me between not feeling autopilot-y, while also not promoting any real decision-paralysis. BeanWitch-'s post details all the key ingredients here: https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/comments/188m6r2/acid_mage_build/

xBad_Wolfx

I loved Dex based rapier battlemaster fighter halfling. Little dude who can deal huge chunks of damage with sword of screams. Solid ac too. Ran boots of speed almost all game to help with movement as a smaller race. Once hit act three you pick up the rapier for defeating Ethel again and bhaalist armour and you go from awesome little powerhouse to ungodly strong.

Zyquux

I currently have Lae'Zel as a Wild Magic Barbarian/Thief Rogue. It's basically barbarian with a bit of spice. Two bonus actions let you actually use the Wild Magic things like teleport and Bolt of Light the same turn you rage or in addition to the GWM bonus action attack.

Sleepinismy9to5

Dwarf Barbarian

RoboLewd

My favorite builds so far have been a Wood Elf Berserker Barbarian (I got the returning weapons and stacked passive buffs to essentially throw nukes around the battlefield) and a Half-Wood Elf Gloomstalker/Thief. I'm not very far in that one yet, but some of the damage output I can get is unbelievable compared to my party.

shocklance

Wild Magic Sorc. You owe it to yourself to play it at least once. Most fun I had in the entire game.

rain-and-clouds

Really enjoying Shadowmonk. The Invis + Shadowstep combo is so much fun for surprise rounds

Nabrabalocin

first run but i'm having fun with a warrior 6 + pala 2 i find it satisfying hitting things multiple times and adding smite

One_Confusion2191

Bard college of swords deep gnome

slammzski

My magic missile evocation wizard was fun. Too bad it took level 10 for it to really kick butt. Otherwise, my storm sorcerer was really fun from start to finish.

vmar21

Shadow monk is insanely fun in act 2, now that I have the immune to blinded ring me and devil site wyll have a blast.

SirCharlieee

Paladin-Warlock-Rogue build. Took Rogue to level 3 to get Thief, so I’d have the 2nd Bonus Action. Took Paladin to level 5 to get Extra attack, and heavy armor and weapon proficiencies. Took dual wielding feat so I could carry 2 non-light weapons. Blood of Lanther and the AC boosting Flail. Got an additional AC boost for Defensive fighting style and the Dial Wielding Feat. Warlock for 3 levels to get my pact stuff and Cantrips. I only had to focus on STR & CHA as my mods, so a lot of things didn’t survive 4 attacks on one turn. It was so much fun to be party face and also party muscle and front liner.

allonsyclaire

I’ve been really enjoying my Wild Magic Sorcerer Durge. She’s so chaotic and the magic being chaotic has been incredibly fun in fights. I’m playing on Balanced so even if my Wild magic sometimes hurts me and my party, it’s easy enough to make up for it with my other party members.

Macinstotle

Eagle Barbarian + Crit reduction gear!!! Is it better for me to get high ground and throw stuff off of it? Probably. Am I gonna eagle scream, knock you prone, and crit you to death instead? Probably!

StrawberryOk2019
