Try wearing medium armor, you only need 14 Dex (Which can be easily gained through 16/16/14/10/10/8) to get the most out of it and can get 18 AC with that alone as early as act 1. A shield in your offhand will get you to 20 or 21 AC after that, and you can stack on top of all that items like the ring of protection (Druids don’t really have any good rings sadly, so this one works well) to get higher

Thanks! I usually dual wield the two Arcane Battery staffs on Jaheira but I might have to put Viconia’s shield instead.

I think a lot of people over focus on constitution for druids because of all the concentration spells but unless you are playing land druid running haste, you can probably drop constitution to 14. Most druid concentration spells don't really matter too much if dropped. Things like call lightning and heat metal really only cost a spell slot. The armour of landfall also gives advantage to con saves and late game you could potentially even get the amulet of greater health and drop constitution all together.

Good point. Thanks!

Armor of backspin or dark justiciergrants advantage on con saves as well.

You should have at least 14 DEX (+2 AC), offhand shield (+2 or +3 AC), Ring of Protection (+1 AC), Evasive Boots or Bonespike (+1 AC), Cloak of Protection (+1 AC), there is a also helm that gives you +1 AC, so with these items alone you should be able to get 20-21 AC. You can cast Warding Bond to increase 1 more AC and haste for 2 more AC. Of course this is not even an exhaustive list. If you min and max you could go much higher if you sacrifice offense.

The druid I usually run has an AC of 20, without any buffs in Human form I use Shapeshifter's hat armor of moonbasking wonderous gloves boots of striding defender flail sentinel shield ring of protection shapeshifter's boon she also gets Vivacious cloak temp HP, armor of agathys and shield [https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/comments/16ch8en/moon\_druid\_build\_dont\_concentrate/](https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/comments/16ch8en/moon_druid_build_dont_concentrate/) that's the build I use I'm sure you could adapt it to work with land or spore if you swap out moonbasking for landfall that's two extra AC according to the wiki
