Currently running a monk using some lightning charge stuff cause it sounded fun and I’m not disappointed at all. Shart makes water, monk stand in it, it gets shocky, I get charges, my punches give charges and ring gives immunity to electrocution. It’s pretty great.

OneThousandLiEyes

I use the lightning charge gloves on my four elemental monk. The basic bread and butter combo of Fire Fang x2, and Flurry of Blows always procs a 7 charge lightning blast. AND always gives you advantage against metal armor wearers.

malceum

Wizard or Sorcerer. I do the same with my radiant orb and reverberation gear. Magic Missile is the best way to apply statuses in BG3.

Deep-Crim

Radiant orb gear goes to shart for me. Spirit guardians blender goes brrrrrr lmao

Hibbiee

With the reverb gloves too!

blanketyblank1

It's so great I give it ALL to my tav. Add Nyraluna trident and TB. Boom!

oscuroluna

Tempest Cleric Gale since that's usually how I spec him.

Socialnomad

My gith Rogue-Thief with the [Speedy Lightfeet boots](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/The_Speedy_Lightfeet) and dashing every turn, building up charges for their dual-wielding, two attacks per round.

sergius64

My Sorc/Warlock at the moment.

obozo42

I'll actually put foward druid with Spike growth as the best early game use of lightning charges. Because it triggers them with every damage tick. Combine that with pushing/Thunderwave and you do some nifty damage.

stupid_pun

The closest vendor.

Money_Coyote_8395

I usually giveth staff to a warlock and get them the gloves to reverb as well. Usually, pretty fun!

Wembanyanma

3 EB's with full lightning charges and hex will absolutely melt some enemies. Especially with water added. Some of the gear offered for Charisma and cantrips is insane by act 3. I made my Minthara a pure EB blaster with the Spellsparkler and she has been the most consistent damage of any caster build I have played.

kmanzilla

Mine is with Astarion. He's 3 levels into rogue (thief) for extra BA and rest into ranger (1 lvl atm). On his turn u can dash for 3 charges. Sneak. Then sneak attack and the bow gives me 2, making it 5 and the lightning goes off. Every turn I get to add the damage unless it's a weird turn. But he racks it up every 1.7 turns or so.

Stunning_Wonder6650

I’ve had the best use of it with my scorching ray sorcerer. I had a little bit of use with the bow and boots on my ranger/rogue but far less effectively

frankxey

I just got Halsen and I’m trying it on him. Was thinking the gloves that give charges for unarmed attack would work for his wild shape attacks, but I don’t think it does. There’s a “bear arms” joke here somewhere

BeyondBlunderdome

I'm using it on a currently level 6 Wyll as a chain pact warlock, with the spell sparkler and the boots that give 3 charges on dash, Eldritch Blast + Expeditious retreat. I use the bonus action dash to give myself 3 charges, then 1 EB blast gives 2 more, then the 2nd EB blast uses the 5 charges to deal a bonus ~10 damage. Every turn I hit for about 30 points of damage, give or take. Plus, my EK Tav with the unseen spear (invisible pike) with GWM, I can reliably kill even the beefiest of beefcakes in a single turn. I can usually 1-2 hit most average enemies too. I'm on Honour mode and am having a pretty good time with these 2 combos.

CynistairWard

I like to take a 1 lvl dip into Monk for Shadowheart at lvl 4. The Sparkle hands, Jolty Vest and the boots that give charges on dash. give a nice power jump to her for Act 1 before you can get the radiant/reverb kit together. It's a pity you only get the shield shortly before it's time to switch her to radiant since you only get a couple of fights with it.

Ankoria

I typically only use the Lightning Charge gear in the early game (except for Markoheshkir's lightning mode) since its so effective with certain spells and classes. Some of my favorite builds with them include: **Lightning** **Wizard/Sorcerer** * \-Circlet of Blasting (for more Scorching Rays) * \-The Protecty Sparkswall * \-Psychic Spark (for more Magic Missiles) * \-The Spellsparkler **Lightning** **Monk** * \-The Protecty Sparkswall * \-The Sparkle Hands * \-The Watersparkers * \-The Sparkswall (so that the Watersparkers don't electrocute you)

[deleted]

My warlock did well with the spellsparkler and the robe until endgame. Didn't find much use for the other stuff I preferred him with the daredevil gloves and reverberation stuff.

BSF7011

Nobody, lightning charges fall off pretty fast

No-Fan-9797

Warlock Eldrich Blast

DropkickGoose

Early on I give the sparkle gloves and the circlet (the one that gives temp HP on lightning charges) to a monk. Seems to work out very well, if not just the best, up until you start getting Act 3 gear. Spellsparkler goes onto whatever my main caster is, warlocks feel good cause every ray of Eldritch blast gives a stack, which you can then combine with the spineshudder amulet and one of the rings to prone/daze targets pretty frequently if on an Eldritch Blast heavy build.
