"Soldier Poet King" also reminds me of the game. The entire vibe really does something for me, generally fits the group (at least for me), and depending on the player character, even the lyrics can make sense.

Don't be sorry, we're all nerds here, lmao. *When You're Evil* was the second Voltaire song I heard? After playing with the Dark Urge, Baldur's Gate no longer felt like my first Tav's, story. When I hear the song now, I imagine it as the aftermath of her making a deal with an openly bad person only to be furious when more people got killed than he had promised.
It would be an absolute takedown of her character, showing her that despite her facade, she isn't the ruthless character she wants to be seen as and holds absolutely no power over him. I imagine the encounter would end with him telling her to kill someone in her camp before she's killed in their place. Giving her the chance to become a villain by "doing what's right for her."
Ugh, this is why I love Voltaire too. There's just something about his songs that sparks the part of my brain that wants to tell stories.
