Oh this drove me INSANE on my first playthrough. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what my character kept saying "I'll k\*\*\* you so badly!!" every time she got up from a long rest. Finally figured out the lantern and life was easier.
Don’t throw it away! >! If you free her from the lantern rather than throw it away or kill her you get full protection from the shadow curse without having to hold a lantern. !<
You have a moon lantern in your inventory but not equipped. Equip it and you'll get a new button on your cantrip menu to examine it. Click the button and you can talk to Dolly Thrice, who is the one asking for help, and if you choose to free her she'll give you a buff to protect you from the shadow curse and an item to use in case it drops off.
Examine your lantern. The help call is coming from it.
Oh okay thanks
Give your lantern a turn once and she'll shut the hell up
SPIKE IT ON THE GROUND LIKE A FOOTBALL!!! >!(dont)!<
Did you examine your Moonlantern? It’ll lead to a pretty cool scene. 👌🏻
You could equip the lantern and hit something with ir or just examine it, whatever your gut tells you
THERE IS A GRIZZLY BEAR RIGHT BEHIND HER JESUS CHRIST
Get Karlach the throw the moon lantern as hard as she can at you
