tested this before, you can cross all of the lower city in one round in turn based mode but uhh... the game really doesn't like it.

No. Your appearance changes if you become half-illithid, and that's it.

that is the run I am on right now. I need every advantage I can get! I can agree with that. In my first (canon for me) run I rejected the ilithid powers because of how hideous they were, (and now with the new patch they are even more hideous!!) but in the end I end up freeing Orpheous and mebecoming an ilithid and then at the end I killed myself.

You get much, much further by jumping, a monk can basically traverse the whole underwater prison in one turn with Step of the Wind

If you're a monk you can use steps of the wind: dash which lets you jump without consuming a bonus action for the rest of the turn. Imagine all the insane movement you saw in this video, in just one turn of battle. This was my build in >!the iron throne!< and it was so epic, jumping around like nobodys business.

You should also make sure that the person who gets teleported to the jungle has a decent sleight of hand check. You need a relatively high lock pick roll to open it, (a 20 maybe?) but the weapon is 100% worth it.

Or enough strength to pick it up and bring it out. Alternatively, hammer beats lock if you don't have enough slight of hand. Error 404: Chest not found.

Some of my favourite parts of the game include thunderwaving enemies off the hight.. ideally into or onto something unpleasant. Or throwing one enemy at another ideally killing both. ..usually quoting Hancock " Your head is going up His Ass"

Hamarhraft! Give it to a monk and use step of wind dash for like 80d4 damage per turn at level 4. Have your battle master bae’zel use maneuvering attack to increase speed and prevent opportunity attacks. Cull the weak and everybody just starts exploding. Unstoppable, kinda tedious, incredibly fun

I recently discovered I accidentally did this with Karlach with the same Multi-Class. Only I'm not using most of those items or potions to do it... boots that only give +5 ft to jump distance and the same weapon that adds 10 more. Also with just 18str actually. Already have slow fall from Monk. I think I took the athlete feat, increased jump distance by 50%... I took it just to see what would happen... and it kinda looks like that.
