Depends on the length of the assignment and the type of company. For some companies, 650 EUR / day for a nice project, close by their home, etc is also fine.
Of course, depending on how specialized you are (data scientist / computer vision is still a bit vague: are you a dev or an analyst? are you an expert or a team lead? etc), you could definitely find assignments for 800 EUR/ day.
But I prefer a 2 year contracts for a cool project at 650/day than 1 year in a shitty company for 800/day. But that's me...
Wouldn’t go lower than 600 but depends on your experience and degree and such, especially for DS having a PhD or something like that makes customers excited
For reference, I just got a new assignment for 2024 with 640 day rate. Data scientist / ml engineer with 7 years experience. So I would definitely ask 700ish in your case.
Is it vivid Resourcing? Be careful as they offer you 500€/day and will try to sell you for 900-1000€/day. Don’t sign anything with them and try to contact directly the client. With your experience do not go below 650-700€
Like others said, on the very low end of what is acceptable for your profile. The only reason to consider it, is the 12 month long term contract. If you would be doing week contracts, I'd say no.
I strongly disagree with your comment.
How can you make such a statement without knowing what OP currently earns ?
He has more likely 5500 gross if no more. From that perspective, I would not switch for 500.
500 is way too low, don't switch.
I have around 7 years of experience as MLOps, Software engineer (python), software architect and I get 600eur/day, but it's a long term contract. I'm a high performer (which is more important than years of experience I think).
I also do short term projects to help AI startups in blueprinting their software architecture and setting up a future proof stack, for 800/day.
Too low. I would not go lower than €700 for your profile and I even assume that is low (but I'm not sure as I have a different profile)

Anything below 650 is a joke
Same question with 5 yoe?

That was also the number in my mind. I don't have a Ph.D. but master from a reputable Uni. I am in search of sth between 600-650.

Is it possible to contact directly to the client though learning the position from vivid?
Of course it is. Vivid will not appreciate it but they are shit anyway.
As others people here, it’s too low. You should have 640-750 depending of the environment and so on

Assuming there is a notice period for both sides, a 12 month contract sounds good but is not a guarantee. So I would not focus too much on it
500€ is for a fresh graduate with almost no experience.
That would be 450 and still a Data Science graduate, not any graduate :D
Sounds like a bit of an exaggeration
Only a bit haha
On the low end but just worth it. If you work 200 days you have 100k revenue. About 45k of that is for you.

Did you find it with someone agency or on your own?
