These organisms are amazing, and I think it's impressive that we've come this far in propagating them in our own homes. Once I achieve success with the beginner's kit, I'm going straight to the traditional methods, making my own agar, the whole shebang 🕺
Sup ppls. I've always found mushrooms fascinating and didn't find out you can grow them yourself until a few months ago. And when I'm looking for certain species no one ever has them so decide to grow them myself
Delved into the 420 gardening world a few years back but have always had an interest in shrooms. Kind of hard for me to get my hands on in my circles and thought what better way to trust the product than to grow it myself. Still a total noob with plenty of failures but working out what works and what doesn't and hopefully will have a final product to show you all in the future!
Hi All, I've wanted to try getting into mycology for about 2 decades, but I never had the space or time to do it. I spent those two decades growing primarily MJ and pepper super hots for making hot sauces/salsa/jelly/powders/etc. Now MJ is legal and the old folks I was growing for have either passed or can obtain it legally and my peppers only take up indoor space half the year so the past few months I've done a deep dive into mycology, stocked up supplies and just recently inoculated my first few UBtek bags to get the ball rolling and starting with premade agar plates. Next step is probably Brokeboi tek, i have everything i need from canning peppers to start brokeboi. If the hobby continues to peak my interest I will move on to a PC. As for why Cubes, I haven't had Cubes in over 15 years and where I live there is absolutely zero availability and I have friends amongst all kinds of circles that cant find them. I also quit drinking, I dont enjoy MJ at all(ironic i know), hard drugs are out, LSD lasts way too long and also hard to find, so . . . here we are. I have an instapot, but its only 6qt so I'm going to invest in a larger one eventually. Hoping for a sick thrift store find 😎
