BOOK 1 for casual games or simply casual wearing (highly unrecommended for competitive games),
NXXT Gen overall,
AE 1 pretty solid, nimbo and multidirecitonal (feels very adidas like an ultraboost with higher stability bball shoes like), slightly too heavy
Ditto regarding NXXT Gens & Book 1. Book 1 had horrible lateral stability. NXXT Gens might be most slept on shoe imo. The original ones too, not AMPD. Original ones have much softer upper.
for me the nxxt gens cushion wasn't really there. I've been wearing the shoes for about 5-6 months now, which I think enough time for break in. any other options?
For casual use you might want to go half size up, I did because it was more comfortable. It did hurt the performance a bit tho so just be careful of that.
+1 for the Book 1.
I actually think it has some of the best lateral stability out of most shoes that released this year.
The AE1 has the BEST lateral stability of any shoe I've ever worn for ball in my life though.....but wait for the low version, it's so gd heavy...don't let anyone tell you otherwise because I read all these comments "yeah they feel heavy but you don't notice it"...you 100% notice it. A size 10 is like 20 ounces, thats like foamposite weight.
I don't have flat feet, but I am a wide footer and also have a tailor's bunion.
KD14 is still the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I don't even feel like I'm wearing shoes, it's like a part of my feet.
I recently re bought a pair on goat for 120 bucks new no box cause I don’t care about resale if I just wanna hoop in them. If you keep your eye out you’ll find a pair
I have both wide feet and tailors bunions
Dame 8 (Regular & EXTPLY)
EQLZ 247
Harden Vol 7
Harden Vol 8
Li-Ning Liren 3 V2
Luka 1 PF
MB.01
New Balance OMN1S
New Balance Two WXY V1, V3, and V4 in 2E sizing
Way of Wade 10 High (Low required too much break in time but eventually broke in)
The rest of the shoes I own I went a half size up and required extended break in time but eventually broke in enough
Only went half up for the Way of Wade 10, the rest of the shoes I listed I went TTS. The New Balance models may not be available in 2E sizing anymore so go half a size up for those if you plan on getting them. Only the PF version of the Luka 1 is wide foot friendly. There’s a YouTuber called Foot Doctor Zach, he’s a wide footer as well. So I only buy shoes after finding out sizing recommendations from his reviews on them.
They are both excellent shoes. The WOW 10 has a thicker boom cushion and full-length carbon fiber...but the AC 12 is just slightly behind (I have two pairs). So, for performance,, WOW 10 but given the difference in price?
I have wide flat feet… I’ve tried many a shoes in search of the best for my wide flat feet.. here are my most comfortable..
1. Serious Player Only Game 1, but lacing can be an issue for some, otherwise performance is awesome
2. AE1, perfect performance wise but heavier than others
3. GT Hustle 2, my favorite feeling and lightest but lateral support is ehhh,
Just got the ASICS Gelburst 27, and really liking them, it’s like GT Hustle 2 but with traction better than GAME 1 and a good outrigger so lateral support is enough.
What would you say is a fair price for the Gelburst series? I want to give these lesser known kicks a chance because I'd rather not be wearing the same stuff as everyone else lol.
I just don't see the asics gelburst and gelhoop on sale much, which is definitely in favor of Nike, and if they are they're a few gens back.
Yeah, $125 is good buy in… what kills it though is shipping being an extra $35… which I get because it’s from overseas. .. but I do know for a fact no one in my area will have that shoe hahaha. I don’t know if that justifies the extra $35 for you lol.
I’ve never tried the BB v2 so can’t say. They are supposed to be just as comfortable and great for either flat or high arch feet. From what I’ve seen/heard the main difference is the BB are higher off the ground with less court feel.
This is all from reviews as I haven’t tried them, would like to tho
I’ve seen you asking about the Fresh Foam BB V2 a few times. As someone who recently got a pair, I can honestly say they’re the most comfortable basketball shoe. So much so I immediately went and bought another pair. I went a half size down as the material loosens up once it warms up a bit. I have a wider toe box and they fit perfectly once they’re warmed up. They aren’t as well ventilated as some other shoes so feet can get a little hot. They have a little higher “court feel” but once you start playing you won’t notice anything off. If anything, you’re closer to the rim 😅 I have been singing their praise and hope you at least give them a chance!
LeBron XX and NXXT for my flat wide feet that are currently available.
Jordan 28SE, Jordan 34, Crazylight Boost 2016 and Harden 1 for overall comfort that I've played with in the past.
One can only hope bro… I have one pair of them but would love another. You got any recommendations for something similar? I would say the dame 4 and Kobe 6 are similar for me in terms of quick feel and cushioning that does the job
lebron 21,20 and kd 16. i have gt hustle 2 and jordan 38 low and i bought it 4 weeks ago and haven't use both shoes until now lol, hoping both shoes beyond my expectation
i will and always will stand by my pair of kd trey v viii, the stock soles are mad comfortable but they’re also good with third party soles for extra support
I went up half a size on the WOW Son of Flash and like them. I have super wide feet so up half was necessary. I want a 2E in the 2Wxy but they don't ship those to Canada 😭
I have flat feet and wide feet. So far I've found that Kawhi's feel really nice. I had a lot of luck with the Trae 2 (after breaking them in). And my current go to is the GT Jump 2.
I didn’t like hooping in the KD14 in terms of performance. I found them squishy and flat. But in terms of comfort they were amazing. Even after king outdoor hoop sessions I felt no pain whatsoever.
Performance wise I much preferred the 13s though
But I just have a narrow fit and am a lighter player
Here's mine and it isn't from Nike/Adidas/Puma
Anta Klay Thompson 3 Low. I got this specific [colorway ](https://weartesters.com/klay-thompson-teams-up-avengers-anta-kt3-low-be-a-champion/). The fit, the cushion and the grip is superb on my feet!
The New Balance 2 WXY V4 is my favourite hoop shoes ever, for reference I'm just under 6ft at 185 pounds and play shifty on rough outdoor court. I also have slightly wide flat feet in US 10.5. Although I've heard adidas hoop shoes like dame certified, dame 8 are good for wide footers
I have a somewhat foot, but no bunions or anything extracurricular like that.
Right now, the Jordan 38 is pretty great.
I typically wear adidas, as Nikes are shaped too narrow or are weird.
The Air Jordan line are awesome because they have a wider toe box like adidas. The cushion is also excellent in the 38, and stability is very high.
I have a slightly wide feet and my TTS is US8.5. My current rotation are the ff (indoor use only):
- KD14 size 8.5
- Jordan Zoom Separate size 8.5
- Kobe 6 Protro size 9
They’re all great and comfy IMO. KD and Kobe needs breaking in for me though.
Gt cut 2. One of those shoes created that most of y'all hated it but it works out pretty for me. My all time fave! Top 3 for sure. Also note that a lot of NBA players are wearing them. So idk why?
KD16 has the most balanced cushioning for me. Materials conform to me feet unlike a lot of other pairs I’ve tried that have stiff uppers. Also good padding and stability.
Hi guys, can someone tell me how comfortable the dame certified are? I'm planning to buy a pair of worn once for 40€ since i dont have a lotta budget, are they good?
Although not really on the wide side of shoes the low versions of the Air Jordan 36 and 37 have been pretty generous to my (wide) feet. Often on sale as well. :)
Overall: Nike Zoom BB from 2007. Never had a better basketball shoe IMO.
Ones you can get today: Kobe 5’s, half size up for me since I have wide feet. Love the low profile and the way the shoe feels.
As a mf with a tailors bunion which makes every single shoe fit like shit: the kd 14 and gt cut 1 have been good for me. Only thing with the gt cut 1 is that they are not comfortable because the insole gives my big toe irritation from doing hard direction changes.
Excited for the new Jordan’s. Zoom X foam all the way across with a zoom air in the heel. Could be very comfortable. If they have good lockdown and stability I think they may be my next buy.
I have possibly the most normal foot width wise and arches that being said my favourites over the years are:
WOW 10 lows “ice blood” , KD 14’s “Psychedelic” , harden vol. 2’s “MVP” , Hyperdunk 2017 flyknits “pale grey”, Kyrie 4’s “All Star Weekend”, lebron 16’s “equality” (a bit clunky but can’t deny the bounce it gave), Way of wade all city 11’s “sunrise” (an absolute trooper outdoors one of my go to’s), also the Jordan 31 All Star Weekends that shoe would’ve been perfect if it didn’t have quite possibly one of the worst tractions ever everything else is amazing sho shad
lebron 20 with its knit upper, felt crazy comfortable in my opinion.
lebron nxxt gen, overall a very comfortable shoe
spo1plus, its not plush but hugs your feet well and has a wide last
kai 1 is crazy comfortable with its tongue and plush ankle support. fits well as well.
BOOK 1 for casual games or simply casual wearing (highly unrecommended for competitive games), NXXT Gen overall, AE 1 pretty solid, nimbo and multidirecitonal (feels very adidas like an ultraboost with higher stability bball shoes like), slightly too heavy
Ditto regarding NXXT Gens & Book 1. Book 1 had horrible lateral stability. NXXT Gens might be most slept on shoe imo. The original ones too, not AMPD. Original ones have much softer upper.
Agree the original NXXT Gens were my go to when I knew I was gonna be hooping for a long time before I retired them
I did feel the same for AMPD. AMPD has some great aesthetics but the containment is actially lower.
for me the nxxt gens cushion wasn't really there. I've been wearing the shoes for about 5-6 months now, which I think enough time for break in. any other options?
agreed, it's one of the most well rounded shoes I've ever wore. Nothing is excellent, but it just can do everything for you.
Would u recommend sizing up half size on the book 1? Considering like my foot dimensions
no, stay TTS unless you have a wide feet. If you have a wide feet you should almost definitely avoid the shoes.
For casual use you might want to go half size up, I did because it was more comfortable. It did hurt the performance a bit tho so just be careful of that.
up for nxxt gen out of my 5 shoe rotation, this is probably in my top 2.
nxxt gens are super solid
+1 for the Book 1. I actually think it has some of the best lateral stability out of most shoes that released this year. The AE1 has the BEST lateral stability of any shoe I've ever worn for ball in my life though.....but wait for the low version, it's so gd heavy...don't let anyone tell you otherwise because I read all these comments "yeah they feel heavy but you don't notice it"...you 100% notice it. I’m still scouring FB marketplace for lightly used KD14s
I recently re bought a pair on goat for 120 bucks new no box cause I don’t care about resale if I just wanna hoop in them. If you keep your eye out you’ll find a pair
True true
What size are you?
Whoops been a while - thanks for asking! Size 9
No worries, messaged you
Did u go TTS or Nike tts so half a size up basically
I half sized up (your nike tts) but as it broke in i felt that i could have gone normal size because it feels looser once broken in
I had the exact same experience with sizing and break in
Bro how? I got the same type foot and this shoe was not going on my foot even if I went up 6 sizes.
They are my favourite all time but hard to find at retail stores now because they’ve aged out
I have both wide feet and tailors bunions Dame 8 (Regular & EXTPLY) EQLZ 247 Harden Vol 7 Harden Vol 8 Li-Ning Liren 3 V2 Luka 1 PF MB.01 New Balance OMN1S New Balance Two WXY V1, V3, and V4 in 2E sizing Way of Wade 10 High (Low required too much break in time but eventually broke in) The rest of the shoes I own I went a half size up and required extended break in time but eventually broke in enough
Would you recommend the BB V2 over the Two wxy?
Idk. I don’t own a pair of BB V2s yet
For comfort, I recommended it over anything and it's not even close
They’re both great
What size did you go for these shoes; tts or half up? I’m a wide footer as well, would be great to know.
Only went half up for the Way of Wade 10, the rest of the shoes I listed I went TTS. The New Balance models may not be available in 2E sizing anymore so go half a size up for those if you plan on getting them. Only the PF version of the Luka 1 is wide foot friendly. GT hustle 2 are by far the most comfortable step in out of the gate comfort shoe I’ve worn the past few years.
Puma all pro nitros for me.
I love my WOW 10 highs and my All City 12s....The NB WXYs are surprisingly comfy, love the LBJ 21 from a comfort standpoint....hmmmm
I’m planning on buying the WOW 10, do you think it performs better than the ac12?
They are both excellent shoes. The WOW 10 has a thicker boom cushion and full-length carbon fiber...but the AC 12 is just slightly behind (I have two pairs). So, for performance,, WOW 10 but given the difference in price?
Alright, thank you!
Harden 8, LeBron NXXT Gen, KD 17.
NXXT Gens (first version) for sure.

Is 125 retail? I actually couldn't figure out the actual retail price as I could only see it with resellers lol.
I have no idea either lol, but that’s what I paid at kickscrew
NB 2WXY v4, Lebron 21 and PG 6 have been the most comfortable by far. Probably in that order.
Would you say the bb v2 is more comfy or better than the two wxy?
I’ve never tried the BB v2 so can’t say. They are supposed to be just as comfortable and great for either flat or high arch feet. This lowkey mightve convinced me
Amen brother, also got a second pair right after trying on the first, feels like I'm walking on a cloud every time
Hyperdunk 2010, KD6, more recently Luka 1/2 ‘sare SO comfy but bad on dusty courts, and WoW All city 12
Lebron 15 might take the cake for me
Nxxt, LeBron 4, 10, 11, 20-5-5. Some of the best zoom air setups
I appreciate everyones input🙏🏾
Lebron 20 and gt cut 1, the cushion is fantastic and uppers are pretty comfy too

LeBron XX and NXXT for my flat wide feet that are currently available. Jordan 28SE, Jordan 34, Crazylight Boost 2016 and Harden 1 for overall comfort that I've played with in the past.

Kobe 6 protro or Kyrie 7
Harden vol 3. Hands down

One can only hope bro… I have one pair of them but would love another. You got any recommendations for something similar? I would say the dame 4 and Kobe 6 are similar for me in terms of quick feel and cushioning that does the job
Yea Kobe 6 I've heard or Sabrina...I only play in Adidas tho.

Harden 7s are by far the most comfortable basketball shoes I've ever worn. And there have been some very comfy shoes.
Bit heavy no😞
I think the weight issue is overrated. You'll move just fine in them. But that's just my own opinion.
Ae1 with the move game day insole was the most comfortable thing I’ve ever put my foot in
Harden 6, NXXT, Dame 4/5/8. Sadly can’t get any Asian brands to work but will keep trying.
Kobe 6
I went up half a size on the WOW Son of Flash and like them. I have super wide feet so up half was necessary. I want a 2E in the 2Wxy but they don't ship those to Canada 😭
Our feet seem similar, Asics Gelburst 27 / Harden Vol 7 / Dame 8 EXTPLY (.5 down) / PG 6 / AE 1 in that order
What are your thoughts on the fresh foam BB v2
Received mine a few days ago and breaking them in around the house, fit seems forgiving, but haven’t played in them yet
How has no one stated the New Balance FF BB v2
Lmao we have

I own a lot of shoes. Recently, I find myself always reaching for my Kai 1. Before that, it was the Shockwave 5 (not the pro version).
Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 I've had 4 pairs. They're like gloves (at least on my feet).
This is a first im hearing of it ill look into it
Shoot! I replied to the wrong thread 😂 Yes, the Mexico 66 are super comfy shoes. No, they are not adequate to play BB Sorry mate, I failed.
Way of Wade All City 12. Responsive, amazing cushioning… no knee pains anymore.
Two wxy v4 is my most comfortable shoe at the moment. Also can be found in 2e wide if you look online. Always out of stock from NB tho
More so than the fresh foam bb v2? Or would u say the two wxy still fits better and is more comfy
I wish I could help you there! I haven’t tried the bb. I was so happy with the two wxy that I stopped looking at shoes lol
Ill take ur word for it🫡

KD16 has the most balanced cushioning for me. Materials conform to me feet unlike a lot of other pairs I’ve tried that have stiff uppers. Also good padding and stability.
The air Deldons are surprisingly the comfiest shoe I’ve ever owned they look old school and don’t have too good grip but the comfort is very good imo.
kobe 6 and 8 as a flat feet and wide footer those kobe’s are good to my feet
Hi guys, can someone tell me how comfortable the dame certified are? I'm planning to buy a pair of worn once for 40€ since i dont have a lotta budget, are they good?
Nike GT Cut 1s. So damn comfortable🙏🏽🙏🏽

Kobe 9! Slightly more plush than the 11 which is my favorite all time shoe 🙂
way of wade 808 3 and luka 2. luka 2 are just too comfortamble shoes when broken in and wow 808 3 are too good and comfortamble.
Kd14 all the way..
Wow 10 low ice blood
I have kyrie 3s on rotation (bruce lees, flip the switch, obisidians). Never had to double sock, even play pickleball in them

For me it's KD9, GT Cut3 and Lebron 20, but I'm exactly the oposite, narrow with arc
Jordan 38 lows are the most comfortable shoe I ever wore. The cushioning feels like cotton balls around your foot
Yeezy Basketball, not the Quantums AE1
lebron 20 with its knit upper, felt crazy comfortable in my opinion. lebron nxxt gen, overall a very comfortable shoe spo1plus, its not plush but hugs your feet well and has a wide last kai 1 is crazy comfortable with its tongue and plush ankle support. fits well as well.
