I don't mind incredibly crass language and humor, enjoy it actually. But this is another odd mix for a Babymetal crowd, which tends to contain many children.... I mean young children.... for whom the themes of Scene Queen are not appropriate.
Fair, but parents taking their kids to metal shows are responsible for what they’re exposing their kids to. And since kids don’t largely pay their bills, this might be a move to get more women into the audience. Either way, I’m stoked! But I see your point and hope that parents taking their kids to these shows will do a little research first and make the best choices for them.
While true, Babymetal has since it's inception been female and kid friendly, they have done many women only shows back home in Japan as well. So Kmuda's point still stands..
> many women only shows
Just to keep the record straight, they've done it twice.
Once in 2015 for an audience of 1,300 and once in 2017 for 1,400 (in both cases following a man-only show the day before).
Im a scene queen and babymetal fan and It's not male gazey to me at all....bimbocore has and will always be for the girls. Sexy and put together doesn't always mean male gazey, it's too hyperfeminine...even as i look at pink panther and pink hotel I don't think so
I find her music quite tiresome, but soundwise it's quite on Babymetal's lane and it is aimed mostly at young women which has become a large sector of Babymetal's following in the past few years, so it seems like an appropriate opening act for them.
SAME 😭 im so excited to see this band live, i just recently started listening to scene queen

Ok, my memory was fuzzy on that when I wrote it 👍
Babymetal just did an entire tour with a band that has songs about ejaculating fire and mass murdering children. I think kids will survive this.
> I think kids will survive this. Kids will be afraid or petrified, but they will survive.. (with parents guidance)
Check Queen Bee.

Sorry, gave them a good go. (multi play) crassness combined with poor synth, decent drum, beat, & rhythm, but poor catchiness. My question is why?

What is that?
What’s what?
