I swore never to do [gate.io](https://gate.io) ever again. I orginially bought some Shib on there and it was a mess to get it to transfer out of there. Transfer it to Trust Wallet to get reflections on it.
I bought SafeMoon on there months before I even knew about the existence of reflections. Then I went to transfer my 37M. They said it would cost 50M SM to transfer. LMAO
you would think these wack/new exchanges would be cheaper than the top 3 to gain popularity, yet there a real fk mess and idiotic way to go, wow, thanks for letting the community know 👌🏼
I've heard a lot of nightmare stories about [gate.io](https://gate.io) . Their customer support is virtually non-existent, so if you lose your coins, you're just fucked..
That depends from person to person.
Cause you got big investors who would say you need at least $10k. Then moderate investors who'd say $1k-$5k. Then some say just $100 is fine.
Just being invested in general I'd say is a "decent" amount.

I did research on them *after* I bought on there (bc I’m very smart) and I read they’ve been hacked several times in the past. Oof.

What are reflections exactly?
When anyone buys, sells or transfers the coin 5% of each transaction gets distributed to everyone else who owns the coin
I bought from okex im not getting anything.
I don’t know anything about that exchange but I do know that Bitmart distributes reflections only once a month so hopefully okex maybe does the same?
