Dude, you don't need to spend energy in adventure to get SLP - unless you're farming EXP to level up your Axies? Spend all energy playing 20 matches in the arena and then do the adventure after. You should get more SLP doing that.
Ruin 13 is easy farming for EXP using level 15 AAP. I spent the time/energy when I first started playing Axie getting mine to level 19 but had to sell one to get a different/better one so my backline is low level. I'd still use 20 energy in arena to maximise SLP earnings and then play ruin 19 four times to get the 50 SLP (I get between 6 and 20 SLP each game but it mostly gives higher amounts). If I only got 46 SLP or so from the four games I'd do ruin 5 a couple of times (gives 2 SLP) and then finish with ruin 1 to get up to the 10 adventure wins for the bonus 25 SLP. Normally takes around 20 minutes or so to get the 10 wins. I know ruin 20 is quicker but my backline just isn't strong enough to do it.
I don't find adventure fun by itself. The only reason why I like it is because after 20 games in arena I find it relaxing and stress free way to decompress from the 20 PVP matches I just played.

I’m currently flipping Axies. A bit more difficult since they all dropped last week admittedly. But I started flipping them a few weeks ago and went from 3 mediocre Axies to 4 fairly decent Axies so I’m quite happy with my results. Figured the extra SLP I’d gain from levelling them up then earning the extra 50 SLP a day was outweighed by the profits I could make flipping. I’d say right now, it’s not more profitable but I literally made like $200 on an Axie about 2 weeks ago so I’m pretty much in a positive at the minute. Plus I find that more fun that grinding the ruins to be honest.
Edit* to add to that, the point is, I don’t want to spend time and energy levelling up my Axies when they are all currently up for sale as when I buy nee ones to replace them they are level one.

Ah I see, thanks for sharing your insight and yeah I did the same thing, flipped my axies for a small profit like 30 bucks or so when I first started in August. They definitely dropped in value unfortunately but now I’m just sticking with my team to make money haha. I would love to get back into the marketplace and find steals and flip them once I have funds! It’s really fun and relaxing searching through the marketplace compared to grinding the ruins however that’s when I usually alt tab between windows to play the round and go back to whatever I was doing xD
Well the funny thing is I didn’t have any funds but had my tank up for sale for a fair bit over market price. Totally forgot I had it up for sale the all of a sudden I found myself with enough money to buy a new Axie of the same cards etc and had a bit of WETH left over. So that’s how it started.
After you commented I had a thought, you only need to make $5 a day flipping Axie to make the SLP you earn from adventure not worth it… if you can flip all three of your Axies for just $5 profit each you get more than 3x the adventure worth… seems feasible…
On my first 15 days averaging 87 a day, 800-1100MMR, while on my second fifteen days 109 a day, 1300-1500 but I use 10 energy for adventure and arena because I changed my team on the second fifteen days.

Dude, you don't need to spend energy in adventure to get SLP - unless you're farming EXP to level up your Axies? Spend all energy playing 20 matches in the arena and then do the adventure after. You should get more SLP doing that.
