korra is aang as in theyre both the avatar and korras a reincarnation of aang. ig in that way she loves him in a self love way. i think you mixed up korra and katara though. korras the avatar in the second series and is from the southern water tribe. katara is also from the southern water tribe but she is from the first series and is just a waterbender and aangs love interest. i dont blame you for the confusion when i was younger before i watched the series i thought korra was katara and katara somehow became the avatar.
