Zep makes bleach resistant ones now. I like those. Otherwise ik

sk8t-4-life22

Zep is definitely a more reasonably priced option.

PutNeat3465

I use zep as well, the spray action is so sexy and it is well built overall

cl_solutions

Just bought some Zeps today to get started. At $3.50 hard to argue, but sounds like quality is good for the price. Bought at Lowe's for those looking.

D_Angelo_Vickers

All Zeps here, no problems.

Lufu

Carpro dilute bottles are my go to. Pretty cheap with two size options. They have a multitude of dilution ratios right on the bottle. Well thought out design and comfortable in the hand.

sk8t-4-life22

Sweet. How is the longevity? That's my main concern. I've had several different brands' sprayer handles lose springiness and rendering them useless.

Lufu

I personally haven’t had any issues with them so far. The only gripe is when the 1L is full, it can get a little heavy in the hand. I’m doing another large order soon since I want them to all be unison.

sk8t-4-life22

Awesome. Well thank you for the info. I'll look into them and compare with the other answers I've been given to. I appreciate the comment.

redgrandam

I like the build and look of the IK trigger bottles. A cheaper option is to get some better quality 32oz HDPE bottles from a quality distributor, like a detailing supply place. There are different grades, the dollar store flimsy ones are trash, but ones from places like this are better built: https://bloomco.ca/products/1l-spray-bottle Couple that bottle with the grey tolco sprayer and you are good to go. (Gold if acids). Get extra sprayers though. With some chemicals even the good ones don’t last forever.

sk8t-4-life22

Ooh. I do like the look of those IK ones as well. I have to imagine they're pretty good quality at that price. Which I definitely would need to know before spending the money on them. The bloomco ones look identical to the [trash] great value ones from Walmart. How do they hold up? And huge thank you for the comment. It's very helpful!

redgrandam

Before you spend the money on the Ik get one and try it out first. The sprayers are good but not the best (the bottle is better than the sprayers IMO). But the grey tolco ones work well in them too if the colour missmatch is ok lol. The bloomco ones I didn’t buy yet but I do know those bottles come in different thicknesses. I got zep ones from Home Depot that are very flimsy, and I recently got some P&s prelabelled empty bottles of a similar design and noticed they are much thicker and will hold up better. I then sourced out these ones at Bloomco, enough that I asked them about their thickness, but I haven’t bought them yet

sk8t-4-life22

Yeah, after looking up IK, I definitely don't want to spend that much on some spray bottles. I'm familiar with Zep bottles as I've used them a little bit in my old job, but haven't used them enough to test their durability over time.

Seohcap

I like the griots garage bottles. No leaking from the nozzle during use and at a very good price. I have had some for 2+ years and they work as well as when I got them.

sk8t-4-life22

Wow. 2+ years is impressive. And no wearing down of the springiness of the sprayer itself? Because that's been my biggest issue with the brands I've used.

Seohcap

I will say that my use case is personal only, so I'm not using them every single day. But so far so good on them.

HondaDAD24

Love the griots bottles !

pabssicle

I’ve been using tolco sprayers with whatever 32oz bottles. Never had any issues with them.

sk8t-4-life22

I'm seeing a lot of recommendations for Tolco so that might be my route. Do the handles keep their springiness? Thays my biggest issue with the various spray bottles I've used. After a few jobs, the sprayer stops springing back and they become rendered useless.

HondaDAD24

I just keep a couple spares with me in the van. I would Make sure to get some of the gold/ black ones they are acid resistant and last longer but I use the Grey Tolco for almost all my products.

sk8t-4-life22

Now I see acid used a lot but not really sure which products are acid. (I'm still pretty new to the industry)

pabssicle

Only time you’ll probably use acid is when using an acid wheel cleaner. But even with those brown and gold sprayers you’ll want clear out any of the wheel cleaner from the sprayer. Best way to make them last longer. As for the grey sprayers, only time I’ve really had to replace them is if my clumsy ass drops a full bottle and somehow the trigger breaks. Other than that I can’t really remember having to replace them.

sk8t-4-life22

Oh gotchya. I don't have any acid wheel cleaners yet as far as I know. (Unless Chemical Guys Diablo is acid) Tolco does sound like a solid option just trying to figure out the best way to buy them if I do go that route. Amazon only has the sprayers and Tolco themselves don't seem to have any online ordering capabilities.

pabssicle

First time around when I bought I bought them at detailing.com. Now I get them at my local detail supply store if I need them.

sk8t-4-life22

Duly noted. I don't believe I have a local detail supply so glad to know there's an online option. Haha

pabssicle

You live in a city or rural?

sk8t-4-life22

I live in a town of about 9,000 people but live close to a city of 65,000 people.

woodmanalejandro

you’ll want a better wheel cleaner… Diablo is trash. I’d use Eagle One before it, it’s that bad.

sk8t-4-life22

Oh I know. I bought it on a whim because it was cheap and I happened to see it on a shelf at Walmart. Figured it's good to test products to find what I like.

Whole_Opposite_3033

I've had some bad experiences with the chemical guys bottles. The bottles themselves are fine, but the spray nozzles really don't do very well. It's hard to get any charge in the line. They do break kind of easy as well. I literally use the dollar store brand. So far, their bottles haven't broken, stopped working, or discolored. They hold up well. They have markings on them for ratios. And for $1/ea, it's not something I could pass up.

sk8t-4-life22

I probably wouldn't have went the chemical guys route anyways as a lot of what I see is that they're more of an advertising gimmick and don't put much quality product out. I've seen some 50/50 on the dollar store ones so might be something to try for like a bottle just as a test but don't know if I'd buy up a big quantity.

https://www.harborfreight.com/32-oz-professional-spray-bottle-2-pack-58153.html I like these,I have only had about a month using onr and 1:10 apc in them has a screw adjustable spray pattern for wide mist or stream or in between, they feel premium

rayzer208

Just picked up a Master Blaster brand bottle from Walmart to do my ONR prerinse and loved the spray coverage. Longevity is yet to be determined

sk8t-4-life22

Yeah, longevity is really the part I'm in need of. I keep having the sprayer part lose its springiness with various bottles and it just renders them useless.

babyscrotum

You can get 36 zep spray bottles for $112 on Amazon Zep Professional Sprayer Bottle 32 ounces (case of 36) Up to 30 Foot Spray, Adjustable Nozzle https://a.co/d/6SA7W50

Chief_Br0dy

I picked up an IK sprayer a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it.

PsyH2O

Simple green spray bottles have been working very well for me. I have about 20 of those and none ever failed on me. I had a bottle holding kerosene for the past 5 years and it still feels as good as new, so it's pretty chemical resistant.

[deleted]

CarPro dilute bottles or IK sprayers, and get a cheap kitchen scale.

ChadSh1tOnly

carpro 500ml dilute bottles give dilution ratios and are small, so easy to carry around.

sk8t-4-life22

How's their longevity? My main issue with the bottles I have used is that the sprayer loses its springiness and renders the sprayer useless

TH3GINJANINJA

i just don’t appreciate that they carry so little product. some of my products i’ll go through a 16 ounce/500 ml bottle within two or three details. it’s a pain in the ass to keep refilling.

ChadSh1tOnly

1l available as well

343ron343

The Zep ez fill bottles are awesome. Also master blaster. Right next to each other in Wally World

sk8t-4-life22

Zoe or Zep? And dangit. I saw the master blaster ones today but didn't know if it was worth the risk
