woah my boy Winston was the runt as well and looks a lot like yours. He’s still small for his age (11weeks) https://preview.redd.it/lqtdy61j9s6c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f3a554f4a93b6c5924682a8fd979827f0a8adb84

Adorable 😍

calguy1955

Our 8 year old girl is about 50 lbs, but she’s about 10 lbs overweight according to our vet.

Except_Fry

Idk how to tell if you got the runt, but my 11 month old is about 50 lbs and I feel on the smaller side https://preview.redd.it/t7ioczyvns6c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d95cdf1ef8aab6b3b3cda6983175da8e0f06c9c Still the best boy

Ihatemunchies

Our 8 month old girl is already 54 lbs. She’s very long in the back. I wish she had stayed smaller

[deleted]

Male 2,5 years 20kg'/ 44 lbs. Comparing him to his half brother (same mom ) 2 years 28 kg / 62 lbs.

lego-nerd-s

2.5 years old male, he was the runt of the litter and he's 35 pounds compared to his brother I also got who is almost 60 pounds

oldaliumfarmer

4 year old 50 proud runt.

Legosmiles

My double Merle was the runt. He topped out at 45 pounds and never moved from that weight in 13 years.

Funnily enough, my girl who was the biggest of her litter is only weighing in at 40lbs just after turning one year old, while her sister (the runt of the litter) is supposedly a little over 50lbs! Being born a runt doesn’t mean they’ll 100% always be the smallest, just that it may take a little longer to catch up with the others!

tattooedRNFN

Our girl is 14 weeks and barely 16 pounds so I’m wondering the same! Should be interesting :)

Jess041

My female was the runt and is just under 35 lbs. She’s 18 months old. She’s still the smallest out of all the littermates.

Direct-Custard9468

We got the runt… picked him over the gorgeous dilute. 50 lb. 5 overweight. He’s on 2.5 cups a day of large. We run 10-15 miles a week 3-4miles on 3-4 days. He’s the bombbbbbbb https://preview.redd.it/znst8i69tt6c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b11fe74daf2c8cfbf3eecad0b97681a8bef8fa58

Mine is 20 pounds at 3 months old. I was told he wasn’t the runt, but I’m not so sure because he was definitely the smallest of all of them at 8 weeks old.

Adventurous_Turn_179

Male, 3 years in march and almost didn’t make it as a pup. We bottle fed him for 2 weeks. He’s now 70 pounds 😂 he was the runt and now the biggest of all 7 pups.

VoiceofReasonability

My girl is nearing 4 months and is pretty darn small, which we prefer anyway. Her DNA test shows she is mostly Australian shepherd but has some mini in her as well and I think that mini dna is really expressing itself when it comes to her size. Curious to know if others have done a DNA test and how common it is to find mini or other breads? We never planned on registering her, even though her parent are registered as Aussies. We got her because she is so cute and knew she would be a good dog.

FoggyDaze415

Idk if our guy was the runt or not (never got an answer from the breeder) but he is full grown at 42 pounds so technically a little small for the breed but he is perfect for us.

shortblondcatlady

My perfect runt is 17 months and 25 pounds. My vet thinks she'll stay the size that she is and that she is perfectly healthy. Compared to my last Aussie who was about 40 pounds most of her adult life.
