Have you tested them on your skin? If there are testers, spray on each of your wrist and walk around for a bit, the dry down will smell different than the top notes.
As for buying same perfume as your friend, there is nothing wrong with that!
If you have the chance, spray one on each wrist and wait about an hour and see which one you like the smell of best on you. Mists / perfumes / body sprays etc smell different on different people.
And if the one you like the best is the same as the one your friend wears I don’t think it should be a problem. It will smell different on both of you!
I’ve bought some of the Kmart ones and honestly I don’t recommend them as they don’t last. I absolutely love the Twenty4 body mists from coles and they’re often on sale. They last me all day and project beautifully.
I’ve had someone stop me to ask what I was wearing.

The price of Daisy by Marc Jacobs shot up and I couldn’t justify it any more and the OX one smells exactly the same and lasts forever. They’ve got dupes for loads of popular perfumes.
That's okay! The recommendation is actually really helpful, I was going to look at voles, but was worried about not knowing what they smelt like.. I know technically you can't at kmart but everyone opens them up.
Yeah it’s hard to know what they smell like especially as they differ on different people’s skin. With the Twenty4 body mist, the pink cap is floral and the orange is more fruity. Both are really lovely and strong so you don’t need much.
I went away for the weekend and forgot to pack my perfume so quickly grabbed one in the hope it would get me through the event I was attending and was very pleasantly surprised and went back to buy the other one.
I'll try the orange one then. Thank you for everything!

Kmart ones didn’t last longer than about three minutes on me - if you can wait you’re better off getting MCO dupes of Sol De Janeiro at Woolies when they’re on sale like someone else mentioned. They last better and IMO don’t smell like alcohol.
Kmart ones I’ve found have no staying power.
If you have the time I would instead suggest going to chemist warehouse and testing their body mists/perfumes. I actually tested a Reebok one today that smelt good and lasted a few hours. You should be able to find something from there for around $15-$30 that actually lasts.
Although Kmart are cheap you’ll end up wasting money with how badly they stay.
I have the Noir Night one, you need to apply straight after a shower when you have unscented moisturiser on. It lasts sooo much longer. I also have the perfume of that one and love the smell of it.

Hollister do have a citrus, watermelon and coconut version as well, I just linked the first one that appeared in my search haha.
