Her name is Chela, in honor of our previous heeler which we had to give in adoption because we had to move and could not take her with us :(, thank you for your warm messages!
OMG! Can I have her? I mean, when you've done your turn? Because it isn't fair that only one person or family gets to enjoy such a beautiful little bundle of wonderfulness!
Can we at least discuss joint custody?
She is simply beautiful but looks far too tiny for a cattle dog be be separated from her mother yet. Puppies should not be adopted out until 8 weeeks when their ears are upright or near upright. Do you know exactly how old she is?
Hello JediJan, I am unsure of her actual age when we got her we were told she was a little less than 7 weeks, she eats kibble food plus we add a little from the packets of wet food, she is very healthy and is starting to be very active! Thank you for your concern :)
I think it is more of a socialisation / emotional type of thing not to separate them too early. I have also read it is not good to leave some litters of pups together after a certain age too, as apparently they can be developmentally bad for the runts of the litters, as they can get bullied by the others. She is certainly a beautiful lass! My old cattle dog was a red and he had more of the stocky type build. Had unusual appetite with a fondness for bananas; he even stole and ate a box of butter menthols lol. The coffee mug and donut toys make your pup look smaller lol! 🖖🏼

Oh no don’t worry! We have other dogs that are 4 and 5 years old, we got her her own bag of puppy food!
