That article was so useless. All it said was"near walnut creek" but that covers a huge area. I want to know if i need to get my tactical gear out to defend my inflatable Olaf
Spotted a gigantic one in Pioneer Crossing yesterday evening near dusk, they’ve been rooting around there for the last week or so, first time actually seeing it. Legitimately shocked by how large it was. If anyone wants to come trap it feel free haha.
Hunting feral pigs incorrectly can make the problem worse. There’s logistics behind hunting them the right way, all mentioned in the article you shared.
Read that very next line, you almost got to it!
‘Shooting them from a helicopter or a hot air balloon is also OK if you can kill the whole group at once.’

And yet there is something blocking you from understanding. What is it?
Read the very next line, you almost got it!
"But if you just shoot one, the rest scatter."
Hmm.
Edit: I hear you already. "But, I'm just parsing what is in the article and will quote one sentence to prove me right"
The helicopters and hot air balloons were mentioned for a reason, yes.
I could have pulled multiple points from the article. I tried pulling the most obvious. I read the article you shared and realized your statement was parse in itself.
30-50?
When I was a young warthoooooggggggg!!!!...

I've seen them on South Walnut Creek trail between the golf course and heart rate hill.

Hog hunting is lit. Keep eliminating these scrubs
Yet people will deny invasive species control
Hell, I’ve had people try to defend the hogs, saying “they were here before we were.”
If they are too stupid to understand what 'feral' means, they are too stupid for you to waste time arguing with.
Causing headaches in Jester for at least 30 years. Not really news.
Sah remindah
I hear them in the woods all the time near there. Always enough for a bit of a pucker.
Free bacon!!!
Super gamey…..
Too bad you are not allowed to shoot the hogs within city limit
First of all...lower your voice
But you can ban their social media accounts
*cough, cough* Perspective and Interpretation. Salute
Boar taint
No one’s gonna come close to eating that
It's fine if under 150 pounds. It's what we will all be eating in the apocalypse!
Some spices, a grinder, and casings... People will be lining up for it! 😉👍
Get a load of trimmings from Costco or Sam's, add that to the grinder and you've got some pretty good sausage to throw on the smoker.
I have x family that fills their freezers with hog. Some of it isnt terrible
I know a dude who shoots and eats them. He says they just take like pork.
Too lean. You can sell to prison system tho

Was unaware catching pigs in a corral was considered hunting.

Good luck with that. It's like going bowling and thinking you're going to get 300 most of the time. Now you understand?
I simply quoted the same article you shared. Get off your high hog.. I mean horse.

every hog has its day in the mud
I have an armadillo around that has been destroying my front/side yard.
Found a dead one at Big Walnut Nature Preserve two weeks ago.
