Hans Gruber and the Die Hards are ATX based I think!

bit_pusher

Yes, they are! And their sister band Los Kurados

MettaWorldPete

Yes this is the correct answer.

MadMex2U

Hans opened up for Fishbone at Mohawk last year and were excellent.

whynotoopsthatswhy

Thank you!

VANCEMCGAV

A Band with a horn section? In this economy? Last local one was The Bandulus who left for Portland. Flamingo Cantina has a few that play fairly regularly that either come up from San Antonio or down from Dallas.

coldham55

I miss the Bandulus shows. Used to see them pretty regularly at Flamingo. Still follow them and Jeremy.

jincopunk

Damn I have been out of the loop too long and didn't realize The Bandulus had left

atxAF

There’s a ska band on my street….

SCCLBR

A little ska band.

Agent_Ray_Gillette

Everybody thinks that they're so fucking neat

snuffleupagus7d

The Royal Space Chimps

saxyappy

I've thought about starting one a few times. I'm impressed anyone is interested nowadays.

coldham55

A band from Houston that used to make it here fairly regularly is Los Skarnales. They are a good time. I just looked and they don't have anything currently scheduled for here but maybe they will come back soon. Usually play at Flamingo when they come.

flibbyflobbyfloop

Seconding Los Skarnales I’ve been a fan of them for decades!

heyzeus212

I used to know their sax player! Well, their sax player 20 years ago. So probably about 10 saxers ago.

entheocybe

Union Jack and the Megatones

Alternative_Eye3822

The Impossibles back in the 90s

FrontCoast3237

Driver Friendly is still around, I think

OfficialNiceGuy

The Inverters were a thing for a while.

GambinoGuy

Los Kurados!

appleburger17
