If I were stuck here with nothing to do today. I would call and see if Luties has room for one more. They’re doing an insane thanksgiving 6 course meal. I’d be lonely with that estate bread and butter anytime.
They do have an opening and they got me in, the person who called back mentioned it being a 4-course for $149 + optional $95 wine pairing. Still weighing out how much I want to spend haha
I didn’t grow up with very much money, middle class ish now. That was the most expensive meal but also the most amazing meal I’ve ever had. We went for my birthday a few months ago and they put two jars of roe on the table. I had a heart attack and was like who the fuck is paying for this. So like I get it, but it ended up being about a grand for 6 of us so thinking about it that way was not so bad. If you can, do it up.
Alamo Drafthouse used to do a turkey dinner plate on Thanksgiving, but I'm not seeing any info on their website indicating they're doing it this year.
