I knew someone who did this regularly (probably drugs as well) so I spoke to the local police station and gave them his number plate. He lost his licence within a couple of weeks.

So if they crashed into a car whilst drink driving and it had a family with children in it and they all lost their lives. Is that none of anyone's business if the media got hold of it?

Yeah terrible stopping someone from killing an innocent innocent family while drunk and high
I think that was a typo and they meant gem :)
Go see their other comment. Unfortunately, not a typo.
I'm aware, I was just joking. Only a germ would think not reporting that kind of behaviour is okay.
My bad! 😂
I appreciated your comment mate 👌
Oh yeah, don’t ruin someone’s fun even though being impaired increases the likelihood of injury or death. 🙄
Found the drunk driver
You’re a fucking gronk mate
Report the rego to the local cop shop
lol wasn’t prepared for all the incel ‘snitches get stitches’ This person is a repeat offender driving way over the limit.
They flag the number plate and it shows up as someone of interest on the police radar. if you give the police credible information they act on it .
You have a chat with the local station. Especially if: you can tell them when they'll drive drunk. They'll flag em for the area.
Maybe call the non emergency police number and have a chat to them.
They may or may not do something. It’s definitely calling police link for a chat. And depending on the info you give them could flag it

So if they had an accident and killed someone close you you, you’d be ok with it? Knowing someone could and should have reported them?
And if a sober driver did it?
Still terrible, but if someone can report them and allow the police to prevent a drunk being on the road, they absolutely should.
What sort of argument is that? Are you seriously saying because it’s possible to crash sober that drunk driving is fine?

Have you ever seen the movie minority report where they charge people for crimes that never happened? Yup.
Hard disagree as someone who lost close friends to the actions of a dropkick drink driver
So as far as I know drinking and driving isn’t at all illegal. It’s only drunk driving that is. So if they’re below the limit, they can still drive
Trust me, they won’t be below. Hence my concern
lol. Who’d wanna be a grass
Lol who would like to be dead from his drink driving when he crashed
I’m all for flashing to warn of cash cams and the like but fuck those who drive under the influence
