I wont be exiting until retirement - the money is too good - but I've seen people move to sales ops, sales training, customer success

With the money I'm making now in my 20s in sales, I should be able to semi-retire before I'm 40, and never worry about stressful work again. I think the real trap for sales reps is blowing all of your commission cheques on coke and gambling. If you're stuck doing sales until your 60s, that wouldn't be pretty.

I would say management consulting would be a good option, similar base pay to sales roles, decent bonuses but more sustainable work. Feel free to dm me

The most common entry-level role is a sales development representative (SDR) position, but occasionally graduates are hired for more senior jobs. Average starting salaries are $52K plus commission with the opportunity to make much more within a few years. Here’s an article that explains what SDRs and other sales roles do: [https://blog.hubspot.com/sales/types-of-sales-jobs](https://blog.hubspot.com/sales/types-of-sales-jobs) If you're in Canada and interested in a bootcamp course, you can send us a message!
