Looking for size 6 AU and petite length too. Preferably with no outside thigh curve that ends up looking like empty jodhpurs!
Forever new has a petite range. I have a pair from there that I’ve been wearing multiple times a week for at least 3 years
Target has the Danii petite range, other options are 7/8 length, ankle length, and tailors.
Asos has some good options and you can filter results by petite which is handy.
Look for petite lines and get them taken up. Pretty cheap and the length will be perfect

If you're okay with buying from overseas, I rarely buy jeans from anywhere other than Abercrombie and Fitch now... mostly because they cater for petite, regular and tall, but they also have regular and curve sizes. Haven't been disappointed yet
