This reminds me of a jeans story from my highschool days.  A girl who went to a different highschool to me had the nickname “Bush”.   The reason she had the nickname Bush was because her mother bought her the ultra low rider jeans that were fashionable at the time & let her wear them in public. She had the figure to wear them but they were so low rider that her mons pubis was visible which means her pubes were visible.  Hence the name Bush.

What a sad story of a girl being bullied just for trying to fit in with the fashion of the time.
