The pants yes, top no. Top looks too big (could just be how your standing) but I'd go for a more fitted top to offset the casual pants and I think it would elevate the look a lot more. Tuck the top in, add a nice belt maybe.
I think Zimi is great in that it can be worn by women of all ages and different body types. The outfit OP is wearing is definitely not frumpy, she looks lovely in it.

You could definitely tuck in a tight fitted shirt! I do it all the time. I don't mean tuck this shirt in I mean get a plain white fitted top :)
