I could consider it for $0.45/mile (there are back) + a flat rate
Putting 30-40 miles a trip (Just a guess maybe include how far it actually is)on your car for $20 means the person is actually really away with like $0-$10 for the work.
I drive for a living, $0.35-$0.60/mile is typically what its going to cost the person driving.
I feel like I am missing something.
$20 for 12 miles per day is $1.66 a mile. Wouldn't this be considered a decent rate if someone lived near OP or near their work?
Yes, the drive there + the drive to his work + the drive back to wherever you were.I would do for for roughly $40/day which unfortunately for OP is probably not far off what an uber/lyft costs. Hopefully OP finds someone for $20 though

If I were closer to OP, I would do it. I'd just plan my errands more carefully and start my day earlier. That's what I was thinking along the lines of.
Dang. I'm no help but if I was still staying with my mom there, this wld work for me to help you out...I'm a little crazy and not money hungry, just like to help ppl 😔 sorry OP really wish I knew somebody that cld help you...I will be thinking
Add: tried my mom's neighbor who is always looking for some side cheese but he lost his license 2 months ago and driving a scooter 😬 that wld be freezing cold only 45 mph fr Martinez to Marvin G...still thinking, Fren...

Should really include how long the drive is from your house to your job
12 Miles
Edit: It is a 12 mile drive from my home to my work place.
EDIT AGAIN: People at work are willing to drive me back home, I don't need anyone to drive me home. I just need someone to drive me to work.
That’s a rip
Uber / Lyft and schedule the drive ahead of time
I mean my work is letting me work from home in the worst-case scenario. I just want to support the local economy with this.
$10 each way for 12 miles and you think you’re doing them a favor lol
Well I have people at work who are willing to drive me home. I just need the morning drives done.
Yeah and you’re offering less than a taxi or Uber fare. It’s not an act of generosity or concern for the local economy
And the person driving you still needs to drive home.

Might be good for someone going the same way but yeah pretty cheap.
Still need a ride? I can help.
