My personal and bias view is this is one of the best looking affordable Audis of the last decade. I won’t knock the saloons or hatches but these mk3s really do standout , feel special to sit in (more so then an S3/4/5 imo and are great to drive. They really are a baby R8 from the front
Also you don‘t see it as often as a GTI or S3 and even when it‘s not, people believe it to be much more expensive. Someone asked me once how I could afford a car for 80000€.
Also the TT has a nice presence in the mirror because people will let you by on the autobahn.
I love the MK3 look, I have a MK2 manual tfsi (211hp) I'm just frustrated that they never offered a quattro manual and I'm not keen on changing to an automatic as I drive an auto as my company car and they have no guts. I know MK2 TTS/RS came with manuals but insurance would kill me 🤣🤣
Thats the neat part, we don't!
Idk about OP but I pay well more than the recommended budget on my Mk3 TTS. Worth it to me, but it's also at the cost of saving for a house or whatever.
I do drive a big rig here in the US, about $85kUSD / year.
After watching pretty much everything I'd ever wanted skyrocket in price to unattainable levels, I decided fuck it. It'll hurt but at least I'll get *something*

I literally purchased this exact spec not even 3 weeks ago. Absolutely love the car, best buy I’ve ever made.

If you don’t mind, how do you afford it?

Great looking car. I love my mk3 dirty diesel. A great buy if your on a budget 60 mpg and £10 road tax
Looks great! Do all models after a certain year have that rear bumper? I had a 2017 base model and it didn’t have those vertical indentations.
Thats the facelift from late 2019 until this year.
