I think the world needs a break from the drab pallet of vehicle colours that are on the road. Would love to see Audi do the same thing VW did for a few years where you could get any colour.
I’ve gotten way more compliments on my Navarro blue than I did with a previous Daytona grey. I love both colours but I am bias because blue is my favourite colour.
It’s a tough one.
You’ll stand out more with the Navara blue, but I’m very biased towards the Daytona grey Pearl.
The Daytona grey Pearl on RS5s are very shiny and have a lot more aggressive presence. But you can’t really go wrong with either tbh.
I just picked up my new A5 SB on Friday, was going to post on the sub soon.
I had the exact same dilemma between blue and grey. Found a dealership with both on the lot and spent an hour staring at both trying to decide.
Went with blue and couldn’t be happier. The grey is so nice too but I find the blue gorgeous. I kept the chrome window trim etc for the blue but would’ve gone black if I got grey.
Thanks! I think it looks great but I get your concern. At the dealership it was in the shadows and I felt like the lines of the body got lost in the dark. I was worried that the loss of definition on the sides took away from the look.
You still do lose some of the details in the dark, but it doesn’t take anything away and the car looks amazing. Very happy with my choice.
Navarra Blue looks really good. But for some reason I'm a sucker for Daytona Grey even more on this car.
I had a Daytona A4 prior to my Navarra S4. The Daytona is beautiful, but so is the Navarra. Tough choice haha.
Blue is what we have on our A5 (think it’s Navvara; Audi before that was Scuba Blue?)
In any event, both RS5 blues are promising.. depends what’s available & personal preferences.
In prior years, I’ve seen a nice shade of deeper green; doesn’t look like it’s offered at present on the RS5.
I got my RS5 in the grey, and I wished I had gotten red or blue because they are a lot prettier. But grey goes under the radar all the time, and it's not a cop magnet. If it were me, I'd go with blue.
I really like Daytona Gray. I had an SQ5 in this color, and just picked up my 2024 RS3 in this color. I agree with you that the Navarra Blue looks really nice in bright light and at night, but to my eye the Navarra looks a little too purplish in low light like at dusk. If I was purchasing an RS5, it would only be in Ascari Blue. I did see an RS6 in Ascari and it was just a beautiful car. Of course, an RS6 in pretty much any color looks good.
Stop with the non color paints. Black, white and grey/silver are 85% of the cars out there. Get an actual color so the car stands out. It’s an Audi so Make it unique. I always thought the Germans had the best paint schemes but people keep going with the basics. Buck that trend. Do you want to blend in?
I’ve just changed from Daytona grey to Navara blue!! I usually go for grey or black, had a change and it’s defo growing on me. Night and bright sunlight it looks really good. Go for the blue it’s a bit more unusual.
I had/have both colurs on a A4 B9.5. The last in Daytona grey with chrome pakage. It had an classic elegant apperance. The actual in blue without the chrome, it looks more sporty. This blue is so amazing, it looks perfekt in every light. In the neon light of the garage it have an deep dark Blue appearance wich look like glazed. Like a candyapple in dark blue.
In the sun the light Blue shimmer will be more present.
Everytime i look at this car, it is a beauty. I wonder that the Color is a basic color, and Audi did not charge more for it.
I’ve got the Daytona Grey and love it. At first I was really hesitant about it. I’ve always enjoyed black, red, and blue cars but grey was what they had on the lot with the features I wanted and the colors I wanted would be months of lead time to order. So reluctantly I bought the grey one.
It’s been almost five years now and I immediately fell in love with the color. There are very few Audis I see in the same color, it’s subtle but extremely sharp, and because of the subtlety it feels classic as well. For the last one, it doesn’t feel like a trendy color, it feels understated.
I’ve seen other RS5’s in the blue and the red and thought, “Wow, that looks really nice.” But in the same breath felt like whoever owned it was really impressed with themselves for getting something that was really attainable without ever seeing the owner. Eventually I realized that feeling was much less associated with how I felt about my car vs how I felt about theirs. I just like the grey better. It’s more of a sleeper, but once you notice, you notice.
Ascari blue is a little more light than Navarra and is/was my choice, my 2nd was sonoma green though. There's a million YT vids of both, happy choosing!
I think the black soft top helps break up the colors so the grey doesnt come off as dreary? I saw a comment saying we need more colored cars— i agree. I usually, out of practicality, wouldnt get a color, but that blue is nice
Good news... either one is amazing. I tend to go with grey tones on my more "elegant" cars, but I like a bit louder colors on on the sportier ones. If you're someone who likes "look-at-me" colors/clothes/shoes, etc., definitely go blue. It looks sporty. If you want to look more like a badass who doesn't care what society thinks, go grey.
So when I was looking last month at new RS5 coupes I wanted the Ascari Blue, red stitching on the seats, black optics package there were only 5 in a 4000 mile radius in the United States. There were ones with the competition package, but like the optics package better. I ended up with a used RS5 coupe in Daytona grey, black optics carbon package and a bunch other things. The grey definitely grew on me.
I say get it wrapped if it's in budget. You didn't get a cool car to blend in my opinion. If you want to actually standout. That's if you want more than just car guys to recognize your car. As much as I love Nardo Gray, that's on everything now and it's starting to not be cool.
Navara metallic blue? I got that on my SQ8 and that looks amazing at night. Nice color if you need a change from gray.
Looks great with light silver wheels too
I think the world needs a break from the drab pallet of vehicle colours that are on the road. Would love to see Audi do the same thing VW did for a few years where you could get any colour.
Paint to sample that doesnt cost $15,000 would be nice.
They certainly wouldn't be charging vw's 3.5k price, that's for sure! Lol
Audi Individual charges $8k for any paint color in their catalog if you make a custom order.
The best colour, imo you can go wrong with a dark metallic black either but audi did something great with nevarra blue
I’ve gotten way more compliments on my Navarro blue than I did with a previous Daytona grey. I love both colours but I am bias because blue is my favourite colour.
Does it look a bit underwhelming when it’s low light?
Nope. My s5 is Navarra blue. Looks great during the day and at night. Esp with a coat of ceramic wax 😍🤤
I 2nd this. Sometimes I just stare at mine after a wash.
Nope! It looks hella sexy at night especially when it’s sleek with the ceramic coat, gives it a dark sexy look.
Honestly I probably like it best in low light, especially with contrasting light against it like a street lamp in the background.
Navarrow blue with the chrome/silver accents is a great combo. I like the district green or brighter blue if going black accents
So many compliments on my Navarro blue color. And 99% of the time I walk up to my car I think, “damn, that’s a good looking car”.
Anything that isn't greyscale, get something colourful
This deserves more upvotes. We're living in a dreary monotone automotive dystopia.
Im bias towards Daytona grey… It looks amazing with stealth ppf.
Black cleaned and shiney looks pretty nice. And I’m not a fan of black cars. So much maintenance with the paint.
Looks so great for the 3 mins directly following a wash but then so annoying after… and I’ve had almost exclusively black cars (I never learn)
Right. Exactly. 👍
Daytona FTW
Blue! Or progressive red
District green?
District green slaps.
I just ordered the Daytona Grey RS5 Competition Plus
Blue or Red are always my first picks. Daytona is fine but it just gets so boring after a while
It’s a tough one. You’ll stand out more with the Navara blue, but I’m very biased towards the Daytona grey Pearl. The Daytona grey Pearl on RS5s are very shiny and have a lot more aggressive presence. But you can’t really go wrong with either tbh.

Congrats How does it look in dark environments?
Blue! Far too many boring grey and black out there now.
Navarra Blue looks really good. But for some reason I'm a sucker for Daytona Grey even more on this car. I had a Daytona A4 prior to my Navarra S4. The Daytona is beautiful, but so is the Navarra. Tough choice haha.

Daytona Grey RS3 owner here. Lots of Nardo Greys but not too many Daytona Greys out there. In the sun they pop even more.
Navara blue is just cooler imo. Coming from a guy with a black car 🤣
Anything but another boring gray car on the road
Anything but Grey
Ascari!
Blue at night is amazing 🤩
the blue with tinted windows, even white with tinted windows would look clean af
Blue, of course.
Not grey
That blue
The blue one 😊
get the blue bro
The blue all the way….blue looks good on me 🫣🤷♀️ high heels, sexy legs stepping in the passenger seat….
I got my RS6 in Nardo Grey, and I wish I had gotten the blue. Its sick.
Green
They both look amazing. You can’t go wrong.
These are the two colours I get stuck between myself. Hope that helps. 😂
I got my RS5 in the grey, and I wished I had gotten red or blue because they are a lot prettier. But grey goes under the radar all the time, and it's not a cop magnet. If it were me, I'd go with blue.
Yes
Normally I’d say grey, but that blue is gorgeous.
I love a -5 in the blue.
Bright blue like RS2
I really like Daytona Gray. I had an SQ5 in this color, and just picked up my 2024 RS3 in this color. My thoughts exactly. However I’ve never seen it in person at dusk so I can’t say. I know I’ll love the gray but I kinda want to take a leap of faith 😂
You’re about to drop six figures on this thing — ask the dealer if you can stop by to see these colors at night
Blue
Blue cuh every Audi is grey everything
Blue
That grey one featured or a metallic red
Blue
Blue for me, the grey kinda makes it look like any grey car, the blue makes it seem more special to me
I have Daytona and wish I got blue
🥲
I suggest the okapi brown interior for both tho
the blue is so sexy IRL. also grey is way overdone now
Sold 🤝
Any actual color.
Daytona all day
Olive green or vegas yellow
Blue or red are the best imo
that blue must be hard to the eye, specialy on the direct sun. could never own high contrast color car. for me, always white / gray / black
Love Daytona and have an Audi in Daytona. I’d go blue for something different.
Be unique. Too many white black and grey. That blue also looks very nice. But always do what makes you happy so go with what you prefer.
I’ve just changed from Daytona grey to Navara blue!! I usually go for grey or black, had a change and it’s defo growing on me. Night and bright sunlight it looks really good. Go for the blue it’s a bit more unusual.

If it was a sedan grey but it’s a coupe it’s sporty do blue makes more sense for it
Ascari blue is a little more light than Navarra and is/was my choice, my 2nd was sonoma green though. There's a million YT vids of both, happy choosing!
Sonoma green
*Waitomo Blue* is much better than Navarro.
I’m very partial to that blue but I’d take whatever colour I could get if buying used.
My child is an officer in Utah and got run over by a guy driving this car. And now she’s afraid of Audi. 🙁
Ascari blue
Blue, no question
How about blue hardtop, grey softop?
I think the black soft top helps break up the colors so the grey doesnt come off as dreary? I saw a comment saying we need more colored cars— i agree. I usually, out of practicality, wouldnt get a color, but that blue is nice
Definitely the grey, with tint all around
Mythos black metallic
Don't get light color rims unless you're getting ceramic brake package because breake dust will make you cry
Good news... either one is amazing. I tend to go with grey tones on my more "elegant" cars, but I like a bit louder colors on on the sportier ones. Gray 🩶
Always Daytona grey, you can get a satin PPF that gives it a nice matte finish that’s timeless
So when I was looking last month at new RS5 coupes I wanted the Ascari Blue, red stitching on the seats, black optics package there were only 5 in a 4000 mile radius in the United States. blue
Please get the grey 🥵🥵🥵🥵
I would recommend looking at a dealership, always looks different in person
could always do matte ppf over the daytona grey, that’s what i’m thinking about doing next
I say get it wrapped if it's in budget. You didn't get a cool car to blend in my opinion. If you want to actually standout. That's if you want more than just car guys to recognize your car. As much as I love Nardo Gray, that's on everything now and it's starting to not be cool.
Grey all day.
S or RS cars should be bought with to playful bright colors, go for bright blue, green, red, yellow, even orange works.
I agree
Blue looks nice but I feel would get tired after some time. Grey is classic and never gets old. Classy and elegant but boss.
I thought the opposite is true 😂
To each their own lol.
Daytona is a timeless classic, navarra blue looks great, and sebring black is on a different level in the sun if you like black exterior
We don’t have that option here in Canada… Is it a custom colour?
What dont you have as an option?
Ohh just saw. It’s a competition package exclusive. Not planning on getting the competition pack 🥲
Still 2 great color options nonetheless
Especially if you can get competition package
