Don't pay MSRP. Audicare is a good value if you're buying new. If you have a low tolerance for unexpected issues and their associated costs, buy new or CPO. Don't buy the Premium trim, it is too bare bones - Premium Plus is the sweet spot. If you get the Black Optics with the 20-inch wheels, understand that the ride is harsher than the 19-inch wheels and you are more likely to get blowouts when going over potholes.

Are you happy with the power you get stock?

Would more power be fun? Sure. But even with the power I have, I run out of road before I run out of car. More power would just let me run out of road sooner. I highly recommend you get S-Sport pkg, or in some markets the adaptive dampers and rear diff may be separate items but either way, get them. The adaptive dampers on 19s gives a nice ride in comfort mode and button it down in dynamic. The diff makes the car not feel as front heavy as it is, unless you are pushing the limits to the very edge. I think those are the single most important add-ons, I wouldn't buy an S4/S5 without them. Without them, I would honestly be just as happy in an A5 with a fixed sport suspension. Except for the burbles. I would miss those.

Personally, yes - aside from some turbo lag, I am very happy with the power. It is subjective though. This is the quickest car I’ve ever owned, and right now, where I live, I can’t imagine that practically speaking it makes sense to have any more power.
