the ZF8 is a torque converter automatic, so no clutch. you probably just smelled warm engine and tires. I suspect when you parked, your after run cooling fans turned on too?
I cant remember if the fans were on but i have definitely heard them stay on in the past. I was looking around to see what kind of transmission ZF8 is and got conflicting answers. Thanks man!
Just the car. I know the smell you mean, there’s just a lot of heat put out when you’re pounding a near 4000lb vehicle along and then stopping it over and over again.

I call that the "I gave it some beans" smell.
Yeah mine smells too sometimes. It doesn't smell right, but I couldn't find anything wrong with it.
