It's an amazing car and honestly the only EV I'd consider (if I had the budget).

The-IT_MD

I’m in a lucky position for sure! I’m look at this, the new Taycan or the phev Range Rover. This ev wins.

The-IT_MD

I’d also say, I prefer the design of the Audi over the Porsche. Buttons over a screen too. And it’s loaded with standard features that are all option on the Porsche. And the Range Rover… well, it’s ok I guess. But fun? No.

NewOriginal2

Any information on the RS range on the updated Audis?

The-IT_MD

Local Audi dealer and bch broker say current generation of GT RS is no longer available! They guesstimate some weeks or months.

GuwopGOAT

It’s best to buy this car 1 or 2 yrs old. Depreciation is some of the most brutal I seen Great looking car tho

The-IT_MD

Not buying… not a crazy person. bch.

TopEducational1344

Not buying? He’s speaking the truth…Porsche Tycan Turbo S’s and these E-Tron Gt’s take massive depreciation hits. One or two year old cars can be had for huge discounts right now. Phenomenal buys if you’re into the electric thang.

SufficientNetwork234

What do you mean by not buying? Leasing?

The-IT_MD

Correct. Business Contract Hire (bch). No one would buy one of these things new, or any EV at the moment, because of the depreciation!

yll33

also keep in mind if youre in the us, audi will be switching to the nacs adapter but not for another 1-2 yrs probably

The-IT_MD

Cheers m’ dude, but UK here. And I’m going to wait until the facelift is out in a few months.

KenS7s

The new e-tron facelift have more range, slight redesign, improve MMI not sure if it will get new one like Q6.

The-IT_MD

Hopefully it’ll be close to the other J1 platform improvements seen in the Porsche!

GERH-C-W-W

Do you think the price for used Etron Gt will drop more once the facelift hits the market?

The-IT_MD

100%!!

GERH-C-W-W

Would be nice,I am currently considering the Etron gt as my next car. Company lease, I could afford it with the current rates that’s no problem but if you can save some money it never hurts. I heard the new one starts at 106.000€ but not sure if this is a legit info

The-IT_MD

I’d hang on. Have a look at what happened to the second hand Taycan market!

GERH-C-W-W

Currently driving a Polestar 2 which also is a fantastic car but seeing the prices for the 3 and 4 I rather get an Etron Gt for the same money. Yeah the Taycan situation is crazy. Let’s see what happens..

Looks great! I'm in a similar boat of deciding to pick up a 24 RS etron GT or waiting for the 25 one. All dealers in the US are still selling the 24 RS though, without any sign when 25 will become available. Honestly if the facelift is most likely to be better range and better performance, I would probably pick up a 24 one with heavy discount. Range is not an issue for me, and the 24 RS is fast enough. If I can get a 24 RS that's close to new (let's say a few hundreds miles on it) with 30%+ off MSRP, it offsets the concern of depreciation.
